Kite is funny. He's not a good dancer but it was in the spirit of it. And that looked more like the real KM in that scene and not Lilly. Kinda cute and different.

I like Kite...he is really cute. I seem to wonder that maybe something is going to come out with Lilly. She seems to be going really sllooooooow with Kite's advances.
I am new here and just started watching the show, but did anyone pick up last night (i think it was a re-run) a reference to Lilly going on a "drug-store run" and something about her mother and sister?
I wish we had more info on the out-of-work lives of the characters.

I'm new to these boards, but definitely not new to the show. Lilly and Kite are adorable, I was psyched when she went out dancing with him. Then, for the first time, she let her hair down, which was cute! Anyone remember the episode "Love Conquers Al?" She called ADA Kite an Ivy League jerk (hehe). Guess she changed her mind !!! |

This is part of the discussion about Lilly being hesitant to Kite's advances. I know it was brought up about her possibly being abused as a child or something like that. But does anyone remember in the first episode when she was telling Evelyn Shelby that her ex-husband was a mean drunk and that she knows the difference between a sports injury and a trip down the stairs? I had forgotten about that, but maybe that could be the reason. She had a bad experience with a man and she simply doesn't want to repeat it. Maybe he hurt her often.....possibly.......

I think it's ironic that you picked "Killy" since it's a show about solving old 'kills' and the name is close to Philly, the location.
As for Lilly couplings, I can't decide. I started watching about 6 weeks ago, and she has a warm interaction with ADA Kite, Scotty, and that other detective we don't see much, you know, the former drunk. I've only seen him in 2 eps I've caught. They shared moments when he confessed to her why he screwed up that case (maybe "Love Conquers All"?). It was the first ep I caught, and I hadn't seen her with the other 2 yet, so I thought he was the love interest to be...

So I've been wondering where Kite and Lilly will be in this storyline by season's end. Not much has been going on since she left her hair down in Disco Inferno. I can't imagine that they would introduce something and then just fade it out....unless they have other plans, now, since the show was renewed for another season.
Any speculation?

Hey Naj- I've been wondering the same thing. I think the producers and writers are trying to keep the "relationship" (and I use the term loosely) in the background. I don't think that they want it to become a focus of the show, so they've kind of been leaving it alone. I'm thinking that we'll definitely see something more from these two before the season ends, but I'm can't figure out what or when. I think that they're definitely stringing us along. It's working for me, I'm dying to know what's going to happen.  Anybody else have any thoughts? |

yes! totally agree with you guys, been wondering the same thing. I agree with TVfan, I think they're trying to keep it low and introduce the other characters, like scotty's gf and stuff, and then Killy will show up later.

OMG! I must've watched that kiss like 9,000 times!  :-*Yeah, she's totally not into relationships, and he is, but wow, he's cute and I loved it when he pulled her back and kissed her. man, i'm such a sucker for romance. ANY way, seems like it's getting pretty serious, which is always good. Hopefully it'll last and maybe they'll do more than just flirt cause that's all they seem to do. Love the cap, if anyone wants to make it into an avatar, i'd be muy muy gracious. |
