You are all very welcome!  It's funny because she's verbalizing what we have been saying here on the board about Lilly. I LOVE that she's on the same page as all of us. I also thought that this article clarified her comments that were, in my opinion, taken out of context in earlier articles (which I had suspected). A TV show should be a collaborative effort, so it surprises me that it isn't, especially with the change of management last season. It sounded like things may be moving in that direction, so that's positive for her. These comments were not "diva-ish" at all -- in fact rather opposite. She wants everyone to work together. I like that. Also, that "trash can scene" is still one of my faves as well. It showed Lilly's vulnerability that, prior to this scene, had not been present. It was also the moment that I decided that Lil was pretty awesome. I also liked what Rod Lurie had to say about Kathryn's immense talent and the fact that we're not seeing all of it on CC. I think it's difficult for any procedural to fully showcase its leads' acting potential. It's just the nature of the beast. I also liked his insight into her as an actor. The 20-minute messages, total professionalism, etc. She truly is dedicated. Kathryn's comments about always remembering what it's like to have little were impressive and spoke volumes about her as a person. I just LOVE the fact that she has such immense kindness to match all that immense talent. |

Either she reads this board or she keeps up with her viewers *somewhere* It's been obvious to me that the show **isn't collaborative** It has just been a hunch of mine since the beginning of S2 and how the flow of the show changed -when it was successful as it was- The trash can scene we all loved. Lilly's just so dam cute there. You wouldn't expect her to do that. One of the many memorable season one moments. Ah, those were the days! I might bring out the season 1 this week and watch it again. edited to add a tribute to our Lilly: Again we've noted that here with the shift in the emphasis of her dimishing air time. Such a pity and frustrating as heck to watch as a viewer. So I don't know if these comments will bring about anything to change this because the show is just so set with what they did in season two with the cast. |

Totally agree here, Naj. I really think it's a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." CBS and the other powers that be are happy with the way the show performs, so why change anything? It is extremely frustrating for us (and Kathryn apparently) because like her, we know that it can be so much more. We've seen the greatness and we want it back. |

There were a lot of times in season one's episodes where you only had to look at Lilly's facial expressions and you can get how she was feeling. I agree totally with Ms. Morris, that they have changed the character. Lilly needs to react more like she did with Kite and some of the victims. Unfortunately, TV FAN the writers and producers DID CHANGE THE SHOW AND THE LILLY RUSH character. In my opinion, for the worst!

I received my copy in the mail.... scans were real nice (and much appreciated) but nothing like the real thing. Great article and great photos. It's nice to hear that there are still famous people out there who don't thrive on the hype but keep there feet on the ground.
