LK's been quiet of late. She must still be having a lie down in a darkened room to calm down

Thanks again all for your kind words! I'm glad so many of you have enjoyed the story. It's worth reiterating that all of it could not have happened without Kathryn's willingness to give a few moments of her time, so my kudos to her once again for helping to shape the experience into a great one.

We do appreciate Kathryn's not inconsiderable part in the tale LK. However, she's not here (is she? Kathryn? KATHRYN? No? Who's that over there? You! Yes you at the back, with the mouse and the keyboard ;D ) so we'll just have to thank you a lot more LK Plus, there is a fair amount of KM appreciation going on here already

That's too cool, LillyKat, that you got to meet her!! I'm so envious!! As to her role in the film: “There are so many movies out there where the wife is nagging, not supportive, and you don’t often see a story where one – she – is truly the better half trying to make the other half better. I liked that [Joyce was] not a paint by numbers wife.” I haven't had a chance to see this movie yet, but this really makes me want to see it. I thought she was a great (though slightly flawed) wife to Tom Cruise in "Minority Report". *gasp*

@ boxman: I'd definitely recommend getting out to see Champ (if it's still playing somewhere near you). Otherwise, it's definitely worth the DVD rental (or purchase ). @ charla: So glad you enjoyed the story. Really can't say enough about Kathryn's kindness, and her willingness to chat for a couple of minutes ... she's truly a class act.

Thanks for this LillyKat! I was smiling all the way through it! ;D I always expected Kathryn to be really nice and cooperative but when someone actually gets the chance to meet her and writes about it as well as you did then you can't help but think about how nice she really is. Your really lucky! Thanks for sharing with us! Really well-written aswell ;D Oh..also..(I don't know if this is the right place to post this but ohwell..;D) Does anybody know if Resurrecting The Champ is going to be aired in the UK? I've tried looking it up but I couldn't find it

Thanks very much for the kind words, littlelaura1992! I continue to remain very grateful to Kathryn for essentially allowing the story to turn out as well as it did - as well as the overall experience. It was great to be able to share it! Don't know about Champ in the UK ... RichE is ever so good at giving us KM news about when her projects get over to the UK, so if it does either air or get released on DVD, he'll likely give us a heads-up.

I've never found any reference to a UK release for Resurrecting The Champ. I keep an eye on the "coming soon" cinema lists, nothing so far. No sign of a DVD release either.

Yes. She was lovely (as hopefully this thread suggests).
I write for TVFan's blog, Pass the Remote. And whilst I do have some other experience, am not sure this is the appropriate place to air it, so respectfully, I'll just say that Kathryn was very kind to lend me a few moments of her time. She was gracious, thoughtful, charming and truly a class-act.
