wow, pretty, pretty, pretty and she looks so different. She's working a full on fringe, nice outfit too - really cute and whoa, the tan that she's working. I could never get a tan like that in my life and I'm pale naturally - I swear I'm so paler that if I get paler, people think I'm nearly dead.

The following morning, when I arrived on the plateau of cold case, all the boys reserved me one status ovation! AC : Are you disappointed or sad that series can not go out in DVD? Kathryn Morris : Yes, I am disappointed. The soundtrack is really phenomenal but it is also the reason of this situation. It is too much complicated and it would be too expensive to negotiate the rights of these magnificent musics ( … ) But I think that the day will come where it will be available in DVD. AC : Imagine exactly that the fact that series can not go out in DVD, that people can not possess it and put caskets on bookcases actually created a special link among the public and the series. It's as if to look "At Cold Case " was only a fleeting, almost rare moment … Kathryn Morris : I had yet never envisaged it so but you are right. You know, the public of cold case is very faithful and they were enough to look at two or three episodes to stick on the series. You beat me Frenchfan, i was about about to post this !  I've just heard a live interview for a french radio and I must say she was adorable, very sweet. She said hello and thank you in french and it was so cute !  The interview was short but interesting, I taped it so I think I'll be able to post the transcript later. I can already tell you something you'll be happy to learn (unless you knew it before, I didn't) : she said she's committed to Cold Case for 7 years, isn't it great ?  More later my friends ! However... What I (also) like is Kathryn's obvious enjoyment and enthusiasm of it, her fun loving and sweet nature comes across so well. First of all the journalist declares to Kathryn that he is a big fan of Lilly, she's his favorite heroine. Kathryn, in a perfect french : "Merci beaucoup, bonjour Jean-Marc." J-M MORANDI : Do you really enjoy playing the role of Lilly Rush in a series that is so different from the others, because we're always immersed in the past ? Kathryn : Oh I really enjoy playing Lilly, she so complicated, and because we've been on the series for so long, 4 seasons, I really had the opportunity to investigate various parts of her personality, she's difficult, she's tough, she's kind of messed up, she's hopeful, she wants to have love, she doesn't want to have love, and she loves to sold cases, no matter what. Journalist : She looks for love, but she finds it at the beginning of the season 4. Kathryn : Yes it is true at the beginning of the season 4 she has finally lost her head, and she fell in love. Journalist : Is that the way you really see her, she loses her head and falls in love ? Kathryn : Yes she lost the head, you know she likes thinking, solving the cases, very very serious. (laughs) A question of a fan about the Scotty/Lilly relationship. (How does she feel about it ?) Kathryn : I think that Scotty and Lilly definitely had moments when they had a crush on each other, and they thought about the idea, at very special moments, in private...But I think that they probably understand each other more as partners. But because of my sister who managed to mess it up for everybody, I don't see it ever happening. He was weak and she was kind of messed up, so I think they'll have a deeper connection like a soul connection. J-M : How long did you sign for Cold Case ? Kathryn : 7 seasons A question about songs. Kathryn : You know we have all our favorite artists, for me U2 has always been my favourite band, so we were all so thrilled to learn that we would have the possibility to use their music, which first looked like an impossibility... Sometimes some music affects some of us more than others. J-M : Which cases do you like the most : very old cases or the ones that happened in the years 2000 ? Kathryn : I actually prefer the cases that are more recent because I think that it is a little bit more in a grey area. If a case happened like, 5 years ago, you can realize sometimes that things have changed a lot in 5 years... And a song that you loved 5 years ago, now you don't even care about, people and relationships change , relationships between sisters change, and those are the ones that I find to be the most interesting. The last question is about how Lilly Rush changes in the season 4. Kathryn : You know, Lilly Rush, she's been trying to find love for a long time, so at the beginning of the season, she has many options, so she has to think about it, it's a very interesting dynamic. We're more involved with Lilly's personal life. And then my mother shows up, my mother who loves to drink comes back, and it's a mess ! |
