I was wondering if Kathryn is going to attend the ceremony. Does anyone know? Sadly I can't watch the show live (*wishes for a HUGE satellite dish*) but am hoping someone will be able to capture her if she does appear. Maybe there will even be some backstage/red carpet interviews   One can always hope  |

She's not listed as a presenter, so it seems that she won't be there this year. If anyone knows differently, please correct me.

I want Kathryn too!!  I did kind of expect (hope) she'd at least be there. Would I sit through 3 hours of award show to catch a glimpse of her in the audience? Heck yeah!  |

I'll tape it too, since I'll be working late .. I think Kathryn should get an all time emmy for her work, it's just totally unfair that she never gets one

I was glad to hear Mariska won, although it was in the category Kathryn should have been nominated and won in, but I do like Mariska. She kind of grows on you. But I do think Kathryn is a better actress in CC. SVU characters are a lot more one dimensional, I think.

Kathryn should haven won considering how hard she works to give us viewers an outstanding show ever week. Her talent is something special that should be taken into notice.

I truly think Kathryn's priorities lie (wait--is it lay? "Chickens lay, people lie". .. whatever) with giving the best she can, getting where she is by talent alone (not scandel and celebrity), and living a life that she feels is right and makes her and those close to her happy.
That said, I agree that she certainly should be awarded for her amazing talents, but I have a suspicion (sp?) that we are more upset by her being continously overlooked than she is.

That said, I agree that she certainly should be awarded for her amazing talents, but I have a suspicion (sp?) that we are more upset by her being continously overlooked than she is. kathryn seems to be the kind of actress who doesn't mind if award-giving bodies don't take notice of her talents... she believes that if there are a lot of people watching the show and people coming up to her and telling her how great she is in the show is more than enough validity... but all actresses need to somehow have that kind of approval as well from the industry, and the industry should give it to her! not just because we, the fans, wanted it, but well, it's the truth ---she's just simply great in playing Det. Lilly Rush! and the storylines are noteworthy as well, so as a viewer I just can't accept that they've been snobbing her acting... arggh....very frustrating for us viewers!  |
