Two observations:

I think it's funny that near the beginning of the interview, Ellen asks her about profiling the chip thief. Kathryn's face then changes from her KM look to her serious "Lilly" face, and if you watch you can see how her breathing sorta changes. It likes watching her transform right before your eyes.

Then there's a great joke that goes right over the audience's head:

Ellen: What kinda show would it be if you don't solve it at the end?
KM : I know, the montage would be nothing. Especially with a very expensive song at the end...

I noticed her face change but not the breathing thing, so I'll have watch it again [for the 100th time!!].

I got that expensive song thing and thought it was funny, like Kathryn is always funny.

Hah! I noticed that too. Not really the breathing part but how she was getting into character. Anyway, I think that makes her a great actress.. her being able to transform into a character easily! Plus, she's been doing it for years now!

Thanks for the download, irishkale. I was just able to watch your clip. I love Ellen and I used to watch her all of the time.

I totally noticed her breathing changing. It's almost like Kathryn became a little breathless, like when somebody is nervous. Not that she was nervous, but her breathing definitely changed. Good observation! Same with the joke. Yes, it did go right over people's heads, but then again I would venture to say that many audience members weren't Cold Case fans like we are and wouldn't get a crack like that. :smile10:

I think that people who weren't familiar with CC will tune in now though! Kathryn has such a great personality and has so much charisma viewers must surely think WOW I need to watch this person in Cold Case she's so lovely.

I've always thought that sonny. I've always felt that if they put Kathryn out there on the talk show circuit that people would just be inclined to check out Cold Case after seeing her because she has such a great personality on these shows. She comes across as warm, friendly, fun, normal and funny. Who wouldn't want to support someone like this? And from everything I have heard, the entire cast is wonderful, so I 'd love to see everyone else out on the circuit from time to time as well.
