just to give lily some sort of love and happiness of what their relationship was like in the past.I think it aslo had to blend in with the rest of the storyline ,to connect it all together ,they writers had to come up with something

I said that I don't want the relationship to end, but I want to see more of an actual relationship and less of the hooking up that we got. I think the show NEEDS to revisit this storyline to clear the air on it. Otherwise, I'm afraid it's going to leave a very bad taste in a lot of viewers' mouths. I'd love to see them take what they've given us and develop it into a full-blown relationship (keeping my fingers crossed). I wouldn't want them to bring it back and just show more hooking up with little substance again, though.

So the only way for clearing the air , is like for instance : Lilly and ray having a fight or him telling her he's married (these are just my thoughts ) . you have some very good points there TVFAN

We truly don't know everything about the character, Lilly. The writers are giving us some enticement to question more as to what happened in her life. |

Maybe if they added more about ray and lilly's past maybe it would work. I think part of the writers job is to keep us viewers stomped and confused about their past relationship.

I mean we got a taste of it.. now let's see more of what happened. Let's not day dream or assume about it.. Let's see what happened and what made MC man all of sudden show up in Lilly's? Like you said, not to just hookup with little substance.. Will their relationship rekindle? I want to more about Lilly's past as well. We truly do not know our heroine...we really don't We are getting bits and pieces of Lilly; and now we got a glimpse of MC man with probably more to follow |

I really want to know about lilly's past too eurache .. It's weird how the writers fail to show the two of them talking about the past , it seems like they had a good past together . At least shows us a flashback or something .

At least shows us a flashback or something . That's the enticement the writers want to give the audience. Just a little at a time, then they got you hooked. That's what writing is all about, "the Element of surprise"  Why give it all in one episode? We'll give it to the audience a little at a time so they (audience) wants more.. questions more..etc. |

I agree with both of you TVFan and Eurache ;D They've kind of made Lilly out to be an easy lay when it comes to this guy, so I want to see what's just so special about him! :smile6:

I voted for "No, but unless there's more of relationship shown". For me the only way this storyline is interesting is if it gives us more insight on Lilly's character, how she thinks, how she relates to people outside her work, etc. And also if it gives any info about her past.
