yeah this poll is a little late... anyway, I wanted to know what you all thought of the music sequences at the end of the episodes. i've heard a lot of people say they really like them, and others find them cheesy. let us know what you think!
I said that i dont really like them... i think they get a little cheesy and i feel like id like to see thing get more resolved at the end of the episode, with dialouge and stuff.

In truth, I wouldn't feel the same about the show without the music sequences at the end. They make the show stand out from all the other procedural shows on TV. They also a another demension to the show, emotionally, with the slow motion while the finaly song is playing and the characters, including the detectives, have some closure.

I said that I love them, but it's more like a "like them." I think they give the show individuality and distinctiveness. When done correctly, they convey just as much (if not more) emotion and closure as dialogue. The reason I said "like," is because there are times when they miss. When this happens, it seems that dialogue would have been better, or perhaps just a better ending sequence. I don't want them to change the ending montages, but I also think that they need to always match the emotion and closure that would be reached if they had used dialogue.

I think they are a part of what makes the show stand out from the others. Music, in any case, can sometimes express what we are feeling 100% better than dialogue ever could.

I said I loved them. As Ryebeach said the music helps make up the closure that all characters have in the end of the episode.

I love them! To me they're CC's signature feature. Not only do they provide closure, but most of the time they open up a whole can of worms!
Take last week's episode where we are shown the Christina and Scotty thing. I like that they sort of throw that last thing at you and then let it stew until the next episode. Also Kite and Lilly's first "date" was in the final montage (when we see that Lilly has allowed him to be at "the hat squad" meeting at the end of "Greed".)

They're a hit and miss for me. At first I thought they were kinda silly but I've grown accustomed to them as a trademark of the series. ~Naj

The music at the end of each of the episodes make the show even more special and interesting for me. I love music of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s and listen to almost every kind of music style. So you can imagine I feel like I'm on cloud no. 9 whenever I hear a song!!! ;D

I love the music-sequences at the end! After watching Cold Case, I have to admit that I bought a lot of songs and CDs.
