I chose option 1 because I thought that it was great all the conflict she caused! I loved how all of their relationships changed. but I'm not glad she's gone... scotty was getting pretty messed up and Lilly and him weren't really talking anymore.

Good evening everyone, Hey, I had to go with CC Fan on this one. Plus, I know Nicki Aycox from several other movies and television series, I am a fan of hers. She is a pretty girl, and I believe that her character revealed a side of Lilly that would not have come to light otherwise. However, it seems that she had a very negative impact on everyone she had contact with so far. She drove Scotty and Lil apart as partners and in life, she and Lilly are barely talking, and she ran out on Scotty, and she is a fugitive who is being hunted by the NYPD. However, I have a feeling that she is going to be back, and that she will make an impact on this show again. Whether it will be for good or bad is yet to be determined, but she will be back, and Cold Case will be better for it! Thanks for listening, and take care tonight, everyone!

I liked her but could have lived without her. When I first heard she was coming on to the show, I was excitied. I thought we were finally going to learn Lilly's backstory. After 10 episodes with Chris, I don't feel we know more than when we started. We know something happened years ago between Lil's love of her life and Chris that caused a major falling out. That's fine but now with Chris seemingly gone for the foreseeable future, I worry that it'll be a good deal of time before we get any more info on this. Like Byrdman said, Chris did seem to cause conflict with all she interacted with. Her realtionship with Scotty was going nowhere from the start. In my opinion, I think a lot more could have been done with the character of Chris. But we never saw her anywhere besides the bar or her apartment or Lil's. And couldn't she have found someone else to go out with besides her estranged sister's partner? I have to wonder if she went out with him, in part, to make Lilly angry. Well, it worked. All that being said, i do believe we'll see Chris again next season and hopefully next time, she'll try to expand her horizons a bit and get out more. And maybe, just maybe, she'll tell us what really happened all those years ago.

I know this will seem like treason to Tati and a few other Christina-haters, but I also voted for option 1. I absolutely adored Christina as a character--she brought out the worst in lots of people, created a nice amount of conflict, and opened lots of interesting doors for discussion and speculation. In real life, I'd hardly be a fan of people like her--and I'll always take Lilly's side against her--but I just thought she was a great addition to the show. Even the way they wrote her out was good. I give her a big :thumb:

I voted for option #2. It's not like I completely hate her - I loved that she came to the show, because we learned something more about Lilly (even though they didn't do with her everything they could have - I completely agree with Ryebeach's entire post). I totally hate her as character, for everything she has done to Lilly (even if I don't know the specific details, I'll always take Lilly's side).
But I really didn't like the thing with Scotty. I think it was too early for the show to have such a rift between its main characters. Scotty and Lilly have been partners for a little over than a year and their work/friends relationship is not strong enough to live through something like this without scars, and I don't like the fact that the memory of this episode will be between them forever. Plus I don't think this mess helped Scotty's character at all - they could've had him going down over Elisa's death, but in so many different ways. I'm babbling, but I think you know what I mean.
I was happy she came, but now I'm even happier she's leaving. ;D

I chose the first option as well. I think that Chris was good for the show, and Disasterfreak said all my reasons with her post:
Very well put Disasterfreak! :thumb: But, I won't miss her. I think the storyline ran its arc, and I'm ready for a new one.

I went with option 1, i liked the tension. But, like Ryebeach said, we didnt really get anything about Lilly's family story from it, which was dissapointing.

I liked the idea but felt it didn't help us learn much. Of course, that is the idea. With many years left for the show, we're bound to learn more. I just didn't like Scotty and Christina together. No matter what shape Scotty was in, it just wasn't like him to do that. And for Lily and Scotty to make up like that so quickly. Too quickly for me.

I liked the addition of Lily's sister, not so much because of the conflict it caused with Scotty, but because of the insight it allowed on Lily. We got to see a pretty nasty side to her and emotional. I recall the first episode with George and no one could get him to confess and Lily had to go home knowing she couldn't put him away. In that last scene, Christina is sleeping on the daybed and Lily just kind of lies down beside her. I found it interesting given the amount of anger she had previously shown towards her sister.
