They arrested Dom because he killed Sam. Whether or not he loved her was irrelevant. If you kill someone, even if it's a mercy killing which in essence this was, you've still killed someone.
Same reason why Darren got arrested in Jackals. He may not have physically stabbed the one who's name we shall not say to death, but he was there and participated in burying her body.....regardless of whether not he loved her, which I think on some level he did.

But they did not arrest the wife from "The Good Death" Because Lilly chose to do the confession "off record", which meant they didn't have "any" evidence against the wife. They chose to look the other way because the wife did not "murder" her husband. The wife assisted in euthanasia to put her husband out of the pain he was feeling. |

Thanks CBL but I think euthanasia is illegal in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania I doesn't matter. Lilly did the confession "off the record" which meant there would be no evidence in the event of a trial, in which to convict her. The same as in A Perfect Day. After Art confessed to what happened, both Vera and Jeffries basically said they didn't hear what he said and forgot to write anything down, since the cop Art was talking about killed his daughter. Clearly murdering a cop is illegal, but there were extenuating circumstances. |

Electrophile, i was made aware of why Dom was arrested, CBS (or rather digital channel 44-2, MyNetwork TV, which plays reruns of Cold Case and in this case, 'Boy Crazy') had edited the part out after the final hug, so i never saw him use the pillow. they went to a commercial off-time and the next thing there was the ending montage. i missed that part.
