Also known as Teeth  Really? I never really watched it but lately, due to complete lack of my favourite shows (hrmm...) Dad & I have been watching more concerts and stuff on it (hence my realisation of The Canterbury Tales being on. Yer, I'm looking forward to that cos I've been wanting to see them for over two years.) Right now we're on our second Queen concert in a week. I'm quite enjoying it.  |

I love queen! Ah, freddie... That was my idol band when I was a kid.
Er is on! One show I actually like on commercial tv. And I remembered to tune in. And its good. I forgot how good it was. I feared grey's may have turned me into a fluffy-plot lover, but no. Tg.
And top gear was good tonight! Richard crashed that little van. And jeremy leaning out the window to see the bumper was priceless! James got picked on, as always. And, omg, I want the rolls with adjustable stars on its ceiling. That is quite possibly the coolest thing I've seen!

Has Cold Case Season 4 finished in Australia yet?
ahh Queen hehe.... one of the all-time best band!! ESpecially to a youngster like me these days =P. Queen, AC/DC, and Led Zepellin are like all the rage still!!!

Nope, season 4 has been taken off the air and probably won't finish until... End of the year I think.

 It was a good episode (although I'm honestly pressed to remember one that didn't at least have me giggling) and the Rolls with the lights...sooo trippy.  Yep, easily impressed, I am. ;D It was cool though.

It seems the only way we can complain about Channel 9 taking off Cold Case now with 3 episodes to go till the end of this season is actually write them a letter (snail mail). I looked at ninemsn.com the other day but there's nowhere to email about the tv shows. So, I'll write them a letter of complaint. And also write to "The Guide" from the Herald Sun Newspaper. Maybe they'll publish it. I'll let you know what happens (if anything). But it peeves me beyond words that they take "Cold Case" off like that!!! It shows how little regard they have for any show or their fans. Not Happy Jan!!!  |

its so boring without any new CC episodes. I don't wanna wait til september.
honestly though i can't see their point of taking the last 3 episodes off. luckily I've already seen them but I can imagine how p1ssed off you people are. this is not the first time they've done it. Anyone remember the Woods saga? didnt see it til the year after it was aired and that really made me go ape sh1t.

he's probably already seen it through....ermm I don't want to say what it is....let's just leave it at "some illegal form of ways", definitely not through Youtube...no one barely uploads episodes of Cold Case on there.
awww that suaks that they leave you guys hanging and not air the final 3 epis of the season!! The last epi is the best =).

I'd love to say I told you so, but that would be incredibly insensitive, wouldn't it?
Seriously though, when we have peanut-brained apes running a multi-million dollar TV station, what more could you expect? Obviously airing episodes in chronological order is just too much to ask. Like I've always said, never let a man do a womans' job. Feminists and Maleists be damned.
Anways, hope all is well wherever youse are. I'm on holi's at the moment on the Gold Coast. Weather is Shytehouse. If you'll xcuse the language. It's not been a very memorable holiday.
Thought I might just check in while I wait for the rain to subside (not likely). There's only so much pay-TV you can watch.
PS: Anyone remeber that ol' Aussie show Water Rats? Love it! Just thought I'd throw that in.

@ Lee; I loved water rats. Goldy was my favourite. Oh, and I was just at the gold coast last night. Up towards Helensvale staying with a friend. Then some shopping at Aus Fair (only undercover shopping centre close to Surfers) then home. And ur right, the weather isn't so fun there atm. There was a brief patch of sunlight this morning! Very brief.
Meanwhile, I'm watching funniest home videos. The hostess is always dressed hidesously! Some ruffle sleeve getup tonight. Ack.
Oh, forgot; also @ Lee... If they're not going to bring CC back for a while then we're going to have to go off-topic otherwise this thread will die. Just has CC has died on Aus screens. (How was that? A little too poetic/symbolic? Hee.)

It sucks we don't even get repeats. I can't wait until it all goes digital! There'll be repeats then! All the networks will run about 5 channels each. It'll be like abc and abc2... But times five. They're already salivating over the deal, just waiting for official gnrnmnt say so. They've got to shut off the current channels to get enough room in the sky. But after that... Ah, tv-land. And there might be a tivo-style geddup in it for us. Projected for... I think they pushed it back again, so 2010. 2008 if we're lucky but poss 2012, knowing the snail pace of the government on anything technological or media.
Ooh, did everyone hear telstra had to change their ads? Some semantics about biggest network coverage or whatever. A spokesperson hit back and said 'oh, is it confirmed orang-utans use mobiles?' (eat that, optus). That just amused me. The advertising world is hilariously petty.

hi everyone i just wanted to say that i may not be on for a while as my computer is broken and we are moving house so we wont be able to fix it for a while  but i will be able to get on occasionally at the library (im there now).. but the quietness here is like freaking me out haha im like scared to breath  its been hot thse last few days.. guess what!! I WENT TO THE BEACH ON WEDNESDAY.. i swear winter went for like 890 years.. anywaysss. bye bye |

I just realised (well, actually I've been realising for a little while now but it just struck me again) that it's been just under a year since Steve Irwin died. It really doesn't seem that long ago.  And yeah Spirit, the weather has been lovely (although I'm a little concerned that it's getting this warm before the end of Winter...) and especially with the full moon. On Monday Dad & I went for a walk with our dog. Without a torch. At 9:00 at night. And it was far from being cold. It was really nice to be outside without the freezing winds we've been having of late. |

Yep, getting warm here, too. Still need a jacket at night tg but the days feel like summer. They even have that spring smell now all the trees are coming into bloom. Guess it is spring tomorrow!
I went to the theatre last night and watched the loveliest movie (oxymoron much?). Its called 'as it is in heaven' and its swedish I think. Really nice. Watch it if you get the chance.
Have you seen how much homicide is getting flogged? If only they did this with cc. An encore presentation tonight, then a repeat on mon at midday I think. Although its not as great as white collar blue, and that got pulled after only 2 seasons. I loved that show.
Still no sign of cc on the horizon...

yea white collar blue was a good one jambled. I watched city homicide the other night. the lead characters were alright (except MacPherson has been flogged to death so I'm so sick of him) but the storyline was as boring as hell.
I need to have a rant here. I can't watch US Open highlights coz Im not in the US, I remember I tried to watch something else on an American site and I got the same message. seriously f..k you usopen.org!!

Yep, very accomodating. Pft, we're australian, sarcasm is our language.
Meanwhile same with trying to watch us shows. They don't work.
I have to say... I got sucked into bindi irwin's show tonight. She's a cute kid. And what a life! I still can't believe S.I. Is dead. Crazy.
Rugby world cup starts next week! I'm counting down.
Oh, and first day of spring! It feels like it, too. Hot weather already. And I think we just moved into storm season.
