I just read the article and it's quite impressive. I especially liked these quotes from Kathryn:

"I think it's important to know who your people are and I've tried to stick with that world and less about the designer dresses and premieres and curling irons, which means my life is pretty boring."

"In the first season, I loved that when she had this boyfriend there were innocent and goofy moments that came out of that relationship that were more who I am."

Also loved how she bought the entire make-up staff coffee!

On the first episode, Tuesday 24 January at 8.30pm

When Claire, a 17-year-old foster child, tells Rush that a man claiming to be her father contacted her, the team reopens the murder of Jimmy Tate, a teenager who was run over by a car on the night Claire was born.

Rush and Valens question Claire's mother, Quinn Ellis, Jimmy's former girlfriend, who gave birth the night she and Jimmy graduated from high school. Quinn dearly loved Jimmy - who she claims was the baby's father - but he terminated their relationship before the baby was born. However, the investigators quickly discover that Quinn's claims may not be true. They learn that when Jimmy told Coach Johnson he and Quinn were keeping the baby, the coach cast doubt as to whether Jimmy was really the father.

The squad also investigates a former female classmate who was obsessed with Jimmy, a school nurse who had her own agenda and a math teacher with some secrets of his own. But during the investigation, Claire disappears with the mysterious man who claims to be her father, and the team furiously hunts for her.

Meanwhile, a new detective, "Josie chippy" Sutton, joins the team, causing mixed feelings as she arrives under a cloud of suspicion regarding a sex scandal with her former sergeant.

there is a longer one with her talking that was playing a couple of weeks before it started screening, it's a better one than that one sah say's what the voice over says but i dont think thay put that on the TVNZ Site one of my friends works there i will see if he can get it for me
