He'd probably have been shaking in his boots even before the Christina incident. Now--after the Chris incident--trying to go for Lil would be just suicidal. ROFL. For the record, I'd just like to say it's much more likely (IMO) for Scotty to fall for Lil than the other way around. Lil is too much of a loner and Scotty is hot and all, but he's way too childish for her. On the other hand, he must idolize her (anyway, he should :smile83: ) |

Like others have said I'm sure he has thought about Lilly in a way he shouldn't but after the thing with Christina he must think that he has blown all possible chances of something ever happening between them. And it serves him right IMO - he totally went for the wrong sister!!! I agree DF that Scotty must idolize her. Just seeing how brave and how well she handled the whole George thing. I think in The Woods we actually got to see how much Scotty cares about her and how worried he was about losing her. I mean, he said he'd kill George if her hurt her!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh that's so sweet. I'd love to think that in future Scotty [and the other guys] would be kinda protective over her. |

I agree that, being a guy, Scotty has probably gone there before. Plus, Lilly is just so darned intriguing and mysterious that you can't help but wonder what makes her tick. I don't think he would ever act on it, and I wouldn't want him to. I agree with disasterfreak about Lilly, though. I could never imagine her even allowing the thought to cross her mind. She's way too private to even think about a huge merging of personal and private lives. Besides, Scotty just doesn't seem right for her right now anyway. As others have pointed out, he's much too immature for our Lil.  |

I agree that the thought certainly has crossed Scotty's mind, but I believe it must've happened when he first met her and they started working together. I think the whole situation with Chris - and Lilly's reaction -drained him so much that now knows Lil is forbidden territory. I agree that Lil and Scotty don't match - but I don't think Scotty is so immature... impulsive, maybe.

Yes, I agree with Tati he probably drooled over her more at the beginning. BUT I think this incident with George must have stirred up some interesting feelings... dunno if romance exactly, but at least admiration, fondness... anyway, something strong.

I'm sure his male protective instincts wanted to just scoop her up and take care of her but knowing the way Lilly is he knew he couldn't do that. I think it's gonna be really interesting when we see Lilly in an overly emotional situation [say for instance if her mom ever came along (just theorising!)], Scotty might have those feeling return again and might just try to reach out to her and offer some kind of comfort?  Who knows but the way things were played out in the Woods they surely can't ignore that concern he displayed for her? I just wanna see Lilly get a hug from someone closer to her for goodness sake!!! |

I totally agree, Sonny. And that's just the sort of moment I'm longing for. No mushiness, just comfort (well, maybe a little mushiness from Scotty's side--Lilly'll swat him back into place anyway). Our Lilly deserves it, dammit.
