I just saw "The Devil Wears Prada" and Tracie Thoms was co-staring in it. As a trivial side issue her name in the movie was Lilly.

TV.COM stated that they started filiming season 4. I wonder if KM will be in it since she is filming the movie? Does anyone know?

koufax: I can only speak from my general knowledge of production schedules and what not, but I would speculate that KM's filming on the movie has wrapped and/or is in the process of wrapping so as to accommodate her obligations to CC. Generally, when an actor schedules a side-project in between seasons of a network drama and/or comedy, it is scheduled around the pre-existing commitment to their respective show. (For example, you often here actors say, "Well, I'm looking for a project to do during the hiatus of the show, but I only have this small window of time in which I can film before I have to return to work.")

Speaking only from my personal knowledge/experience, I have known of an instance where an actor wrapped a project on a Thursday evening on the East Coast, then went straight to the airport to catch a red eye flight to be back in Los Angeles by Friday morning in order to report for duty on a new project.

The schedules these folks keep is truly amazing ... remember KM only worked a very short time on a film like Paycheck - got in, got it done, got out. I cannot speak as to the extent of her role in Resurrecting the Champ (screen time), but it is possible she was only filming for a couple of weeks - especially in light of her existing obligations to CC.
