irishkale - According to Zap2it, it came in first for its first half-hour (8:30-9), but fell to third for its secnd (behind DH and Law & Order: CI). Overall, the rerun did not make the Top 20 for the week. It averaged about a 8.5/12.

Final numbers for "8 Years" are posted. I'm kinda surprise it got that much. It doesn't help not coming on in it's regular timeslot since it was 46 minutes into the hour. So take that into consideration and 16 million is pretty good.  |

I agree Naj. It was upagainst the return of Desperate Housewives! I bet all the extra publicity it got from the Bruce Springsteen soundtrack didn't hurt, though. Imagine if CBS pushed the show like that every week? I bet we'd see its number is the 18-20 million viewers range.

Imagine if CBS pushed the show like that every week? I bet we'd see its number is the 18-20 million viewers range. I don't think they hyped the show anymore than they usually do. (Except for a special article about it - I guess that's where they did put the word out) The show is constantly mentioned and promo's showed during NFL football. There are other places where I see it advertised during the week because I happened to watch many shows on CBS. |

The final numbers for "Detention" are posted, and Naj was pretty close. Unless they have changed the shows where they advertise CC, I didn't see much advertising unless the drop has to do with last week's reaction to the Bruce ep. Who knows.  Still those numbers aren't bad. |

The only reason I can see for the decline is that the ep went up against the season premiere of 24, which opened to record numbers and handidly won the timeslot. That show's usual slot in on Mondays, so it shouldn't interfer in the future. 24 was also helped by an NFL play-off game that ran a few minutes over on Fox.

Guess we'll see how many that translates to. I still don't understand this relevance of 18-49. They are least likely to be watching tv. Oh well. When I was younger I was out running around on Sunday nights.

I think that Rush should be more prevalent in the eposides. They were better when she dominated the show.
