UPDATEJust a side note to this week's ratings. CBS says in their weekly press release that "Start-Up" gave CC its largest audience in nearly a year!

Last night's ratings are all messed up because of football running over, so I don't know how accurate they are. Here's the update anyway.

May have surpassed "It's Raining Men" which is the all time lead ep. I wonder if it cracked 19 million.

I would love that! We'll have to see when final numbers come out. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it comes back with a big total viewers number.

According to the futon critic, this was the most watched Cold Case episode ever. ;D I thought having Lilly do the voice promo and the nature of the case might have brought in more interest. Plus it aired on time.

Hey, that's great! Woo!
Naj: Like you said, it very well could have had something to do with Lily's voice in the promo's, and the nature of the case.

Hey, that's great! Woo! Naj: Like you said, it very well could have had something to do with Lily's voice in the promo's, and the nature of the case. I'll second [or third] that thought, it could well be the reason. Kathryn does have such a lovely voice after all!!! Goes to show that having another female on the show doesn't change the fact that the viewing figures are great and seem to be increasing with just only the original cast. This great news for the show and the cast and crew really deserve some kind of recognition for the ace episodes they are making each week [post episode 5 of course!!!].

The weekly update is now posted. CC actually had more viewers than Lost! Pretty amazing showing for a show that gets no buzz! ;D

CC had more viewerss than Lost?! Wow, as you said, that's amazing considering CC doesn't get promoted at all.

:smile1: That's awesome! Way to go Cold Case! It really is amazing it pulls such great numbers with so little promotion. And I'm glad last Sunday's episode was so good---hopefully people will continue to watch!

Does anyone have the numbers for the rerun of "Family" on December 4th? I was wondering if they got good numbers because of the "60 Minutes" lead-in (Howard Stern was the last story on 60 Minutes so probably alot of people were watching).
