YAY!!! I have total faith in CC's ability to reel in its audience. Turn on every TV in your houses, people!

Apparently, Cold Case had it's highest ratings this week since last March/April and saw its 18-49 demo grow! ;D

I'm interested in hearing how many millions tuned in. The share is less than what was listed for it's premiere. I guess I don't understand the share numbers. ~Naj

The overnight ratings are really inflated, and rarely accurate when the timeslot gets thrown off by football. They're kind of a waste, really. Basically, the premiere's overnight ratings were way off. That's why the final numbers didn't match. Here's the quote from CBS's press release via The Futon Critic about "The Promise's" excellent ratings:

I noticed the Season 2 reruns have been taking the timeslot.
Having football mess up the schedule by one hour is unfortunate because it really messes up the numbers.

Still King of the Hill So glad to see they aren't holding two episodes of CC ending up in the 9 pm timeslot ratings against them. Still king of the hill CBS' "CSI" remains TV's top draw, averaging an eye-popping 28 million viewers with ABC's "Desperate Housewives" at 26 mil, followed by ABC's "Lost," the missing-persons procedural "Without A Trace" on CBS and "Grey's Anatomy." CSI: "Miami," "Survivor" and "Cold Case" both on CBS are still among the most-watched shows on the tube. CC

I saw the preliminary for 10/23. This is what's a little frustrating not being able to get the actual due to some of these times Football runs over. Maybe this will be a 16-17 million one like last season. We'll see the actual.

I'm worried that any momentum CC had for the first half hour was lost because of its direct competition with DH during its second half hour. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm worried it's going to be a high 14 to low 15 showing.

What I'm more anxious about is the ratings of the next episode now you know who has gone. I want it to be proved once and for all that her being in the show has made no difference when it comes to ratings.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm worried it's going to be a high 14 to low 15 showing. We don't really have that marked as much for season two and season one - the football factor. Do we? Oh well. We can do so for this season though. The reruns of S 1 and 2 consistenlty took it's time spot, though, no matter if it was a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. That's something to keep in mind. ~Naj

16.6 million for Saving Patrick Bubley. Thank you for the update. Not to shabby. It won it's age range they seemed to be so concernd over even tho I think they should be concerned more for the older audience. Anyhow it's great news for the show. ~Naj
