I know. I'm anxious to see how the show does when it doesn't have to go up against DH. I'm hoping the premiere got at least 16 million viewers, but we'll have to wait until tomorrow to know for sure. Can't wait!

Yes, it's very very very annoying.  Yeah, I think I kind of "under stated" the annoying-ness of the football going over, in my last post. Very, very, very annoying is much more approiate! |

That would do my head in it that happened over here. It's bad that such a sucessful show has the potential to be shoved back every week cos of footie!!! When you turn on a show at the time it should be on it SHOULD be on, otherwise it screws over the people who have set their VCR's!!!
So do we know how it faired yet???

According to the futon critic Cold Case's premiere ratings dropped from last year:
- 20.21% in households
- 20% in adults (18-49)
What happened, guys?

Blame football and the fact that it was on against DH. Even if it was delayed last year and was against DH, it would have been the DH premiere and DH wouldn't have had the buzz and popularity that it does now.

Yea, the 55 minute delay put CC in the DH time slot (9 pm) and not it's normal time slot of 8 pm. It probably would have sweeped the 8 pm slot. So I'm not really concerned. ~Naj  |

Yeah, the episode only got 13.7 million viewers this week, which wasn't too good compared to its usual ratings. I'm guessing that going up against DH did it in. DH had its second largest audience ever the other night! More than 28 million viewers!!! Anyway, I wouldn't worry. It will pick up. NBC's Medium had a so-so showing for its premiere, and then had a huge increase the following week. It actually came close to timeslot leader CSI:Miami. I have faith CC will have a better showing as long as it starts closer to its usual time. |
