ya know... now that I think about it, Lilly could've been 1 of three things (or all).

1.) She just wanted to protect Scotty from getting hurt.

2.) She doesn't like her sister and wants her to stay out of her life.

3.) Maybe she was jealous... I mean, it might've not been like 'ROMANTIC' jealousy, maybe she doesn't want to share Scotty with her sister.

I totally agree CC. She seemed awfully hurt when she heard that everyone else had talked to Scotty except for her. And, she doesnt seem very happy with her sister either, so a combo platter of the two may not be her cup of tea... and i agree, this is not a soap opera. ( Plus, thats what fanfiction is for!)

Maybe I'm in the minority here too, but I think Lil is more concerned for Scotty than anything. Clearly this sister is bad news (in Lil's eyes for sure) and Lily knows what Scotty has just been through. I'd really like to know exactly Christina did to Lil anyway. There was mention when Christina first appeared about Lil not forgiving her. Maybe she crossed the line with Lil's ex or something. Either way, I wouldn't wanna piss off Det. Rush.

We never know where the writers are going to take us. Maybe Lilly develops a secret crush on Scotty but because of thier detective honor system only the audience is let iin on it.

perhaps it's because of all the people Scotty could turn to it SHOULD be his partner.

I mean, you go through the door with this person, you essentially put your safety in this other person's hands...if you can't trust them with your feelings, than what does that say about your parntership?

Yeah, I agree with you, Atrayuh. Like I'd feel hurt if my best friend turned to others when I'm there, offering help (like Lilly did, and he pushed her away, remember?). But when you feel really bad you don't act in normal, rational ways, so we can't really blame him that much--not even for messing around with Christina. Although I wish they would break it up already!

Well, we don't know if Scotty considers Lilly his best friend... maybe he doesn't feel comfortable talking to her about that. A lot of guys don't like to talk to women about their feelings and their weaknesses. I guess what Scotty's needs right now is to forget everything (and thus his relationship with Chris) and maybe he feels that if he goes to Lil for support it'll all get too sentimental.
