Whoops! That's pretty bad. I guess their only defense is that it aired outside of the safe haven hours. Still, not so good.

Hey Irishkale, Hey, bud. Whoa! That sounds like a BIG goof! I did not see it. I already have "Maternal Instincts", but I'm sure that my eyes would have gotten wide real quick if I would have seen it! So, did you see this, Irishkale?

Yeah I have it Tivo'd. I wanted to make sure that it was going to be in High Def so I started it recording. I went to make a sandwich right after the ep started... when I came back I rewound back to the beginning of the episode and I saw something very weird flash up on the screen as it was rewinding

Just something about TNT, did anyone notice that the episodes are sort of different, for instance the commercial breaks seem to come at different times than on CBS?

I have noticed that commercial thing. And it kind of bugs me. Haha, I've said outloud to the TV "That's NOT where the commercial is meant to go!"

Yeah, I've noticed it as well. It has to do with where TNT's commercial breaks fit as opposed to where the network's do. Kind of annoying, though.

Me too, but I still see the whole ep so I don't mind.

Good point queequeg. I'm happy they're not editing out content to fit a shorter time period or something. That would drive me crazy!

One thing I had noticed is that the commerical breaks are a lot shorter on TNT then on CBS, I find that commericals run very long on CBS , anyone else notice thid

Yeah, they're shorter and more frequent on TNT. Cold Case actually has some of the longest episodes on television. Each episode runs about 44 minutes, as opposed to the more standard 42 minute episode format. I would imagine that this presented a bit of difficulty for TNT.

TNT just have 1 extra commercial break because in the begginning of the show it's starts almost immediatly and in the middle of the show they slip in a commercial but it's still cool.

Good point queequeg! I totally forgot that the beginning is seamless. This must be how they manage to keep all 44 minutes in there.

I noticed on my TiVo program guide that it's listing "Look Again" (ep 1.01) for the 14th. I kinda expected them to go right into season 2 eps.

I'm wondering if season 2 reruns won't start until the fall? It took about 6 months for them to run through all the season 1 eps, so I guess it won't be until at least September. I'm still missing two seaosn 2 eps, so I can't wait until they start season 2. It's nice to have all of season 1 now, though.

Is the season over on TNT. I guess it looks like it is for now. The last ep to air was The Runner on April 18. There hasn't been any other episode scheduled.

NBA playoffs are going on right now-- TNT shows games 5 times a week so it throws the whole primetime schedule in disarray. It started this week so it'll clog things up for the next two weeks. I noticed that they have game 5's scheduled for next Tuesday. Some of those first round matchups aren't going to go 5 games so they might sneak in an ep unannounced. Funny how CC always gets clobbered by sporting events! NBA TV Schedule: sports.espn.go.com/nba/schedule?date=20060424

The next airdate is Tuesday, June 6 at 10 pm (central time) on channel 245 (TNT on DirecTV). "Love Conquers Al" will be shown. Just wanted to let you all know! Take care and have a rocking Friday everyone!
