Hey, this is the Byrdman coming at you today. I hope that everyone is having a great day so far, and that the weekend is rocking and rolling for you. I know it is for me!

Yes, DF. TVFan had a great idea for you and your VCR. Please try out a range of tapes to see if you get the same result in taping. If you do see it across a range of tapes, I can offer a suggestion for you. My family frequently ran into problems like you are having with our VCRs. My Daddy had a solution, and It almost always helped: clean the heads on the VCR. You can go to the store where you bought it from, and ask for a head cleaner for your VCR, and I am sure they will know what you are talking about. Once you get it, please follow the instructions carrefully, and it will get your VCR's tape heads clean (part of the mechanism that plays the tapes).

Again, this suggestion is just if you have problems across several tapes. Here's to hoping that you don't! By the way, have you ever gotten the opportunity to respond to my last PM, DF? I know you are a busy girl at the moment, but just curious. Thanks, girl!

Also, to everyone else: This is very exciting news that TNT will be reairing season one (it's time for me to catch up! ). However, I am a little wary of how TNT will handle these eps. I hope they do not cut them up for commercial time. Could someone who watched the pilot watch this rebroadcast to verify that TNT does not cut it up? I have never seen it, so I have no frame of reference here, unfortunately. Any insights into this would be most welcome.

My Daddy tells me that he has not heard of any increase in commercials since CC premeired in September of 2003, so he does not believe the eps will be cut up, but I just want to be sure, you know?

I'm hoping TNT doesn't cut the episodes up as well however the possibilty remains. It's done to increase revenue from advertisers but (fingers crossed) TNT won't feel the need to do it with CC. I can't think of many scenes from the episodes that could be cut without hurting the overall episode as each scene is crucial to the case and thus, the episode. I've seen the pilot before (don't have it on tape yet though) so I will definately tune in and let you know if I notice any scenes cut or missing.
