So what do you want to hear next season?
for the 80's I'd love some Ultravox, Ice House, Device, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Lindsay Buckingham, Jackson Browne, Def Leppard.

I'd like to hear more 80s stuff, too, Naj. Good choices.
I got out some Billy Joel stuff the other day and thought perhaps he'd make a good solo-artist ep candidate (kind of along the lines of how they did John Mellencamp/ S2 "Kensington").
Still would like to see a solo-female artist ep with any ONE of the following (or just another all female artist ep):
(*NOTE: some of these artists have been used in the past)
Stevie Nicks Barbra Streisand Carly Simon Celine Dion Cher Diana Ross Aretha Franklin Tina Turner Bette Midler Annie Lennox Natalie Cole Faith Hill Sheryl Crow Gloria Estefan Cyndi Lauper Melissa Etheridge the one who's name we shall not say Mclachlan

Ooooo I'd definitely love to hear loads of the artists listed above - great tastes people!! I'd love to hear songs by;
Melissa Etheridge Chris Cornell Creed Editors Goo Goo Dolls Good Charlotte John Mayer Josh Groban Lacuna Coil Lost Prophets Martina McBride Nickelback Train
but I think it was would be really really cool if they could do the same with RENT as they did with Cabaret and The Rocky Horror Picture Show [Willkommen, Creatures of the Night]. I would definitely love to see that.

Let's see . . . there's a lot.
---
From the 70's . . .
The Steve Miller Band Styx Supertramp Wings Paul Simon
---
From the 80's . . .
Bon Jovi Pat Benatar The Police Michael Jackson A Flock of Seagulls Iron Maiden Chicago Van Halen
---
From the 90's . . .
Soundgarden Nirvana Rage Against The Machine Garbage Third Eye Blind The Wallflowers The Cranberries
I really don't care what they use here, as long as it's a nice song and is not anything like ****ney Spears, N'STINK, 98 Disease, Quackstreet Boys, etc., etc. (No offense to those who are fans of the aforementioned pop groups/singers.)
---
From the 2000s . . .
Michelle Branch Anna Nalick The White Stripes Wolfmother The All-American Rejects Lifehouse The Killers Keane Coldplay John Mayer Travis The Kaiser Chiefs Oasis O.A.R. The Lostprophets Jimmy Eat World
---
From any time; they released music in two or more of these decades . . .
Aerosmith R.E.M. Depeche Mode Melissa Etheridge The Eagles

yeh Toy Soldiers was used in 'The Sleepover' if I'm not mistaken.
I'd also love to hear more Bon Jovi and also, I was watching 'Down With Love' on RTE and I thought Judy Garland could make an excellent musical addition.

I think I like more Hooverphonic, even if I don't know if they're famous there but in Belgium, they're like THE band that went to America and everything (they were already hears in the episode called "Sanctuary" with the song Mad About You). Maybe Queen, Madonna, Foreigner and Van Halen

After watching (or listening to, closer to the point) the We Will Rock You concert from Montreal in 1981 on TV tonight, I'm going to have to agree with the Queen suggestion. They were one of my favorite bands growing up.

Queen would be brilliant. A hard edged ep would be nice. Rammstein, RATM.

Yes a hard edged ep would be great. Of course they would have to choose songs that are 1. at least reasonably understandable, 2. Aren't overloaded with curse words, overbearing mentions of Satan (or creepy dark rituals.), and 3. Aren't overfilled with lyrics about gore and death.
