Hi ! Im new to the forum and I only watch one episode and I was really clue to the telly .
Not only did programme is one of the best I've seen in years but the soundtrack took me by surprise .
Nearly all the songs on this programme are all favourites of mine but i also have them on my computer .
I also have more great songs that i think would be great for future episodes .

Does anyone think of any great songs from the past that would be ideal for the Best Programme In TV History ?

And to you as well, Dreamsongs. I was actually thinking of this topic tonight, and I came to one conclusion that would be excellent, in my opinion.

I was listening to my favorite group the other day (indeed, one could argue, the best group ever): The Beatles! It would be so neat if the show would be able to make one of those shows with only one group's music for the Fab Four!

Now, I know that ownership of those songs is somewhat up in the air (I have heard that certain Beatles own certain songs, but I have also heard that Michael Jackson owns most of them currently), but can you imagine how cool that would be? Do a 60s case, and have the ultimate 60s group doing a solo job with the music!

Some of my favorites of the Beatles that I heard the other day:
"Got To Get You Into My Life"
"Penny Lane"
"Lady Madonna"
"Something"
"I'll Follow the Sun"
"Drive My Car"
"Nowhere Man"
And my all time favorite: "Hey Jude"

I also would like to see some Elton John from the early 70s as well. In an episode this season, they had "Philadelphia Freedom" and "Someone Saved My Life Tonight." I would like to hear "Rocket Man," "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me (solo Elton)," "Tiny Dancer," and "Friends."

"Ooh Child," by Beth Orton (the saddest song I've ever heard. This will make even the most cold hearted folks tear up. This song was used as the closing song to an episode of Everwood last season and I think it would be a perfect closing song to the right episode of CC)
"Bittersweet Symphony," by the Verve
"Calling all Angels," by Train

and, adding, I'd like to hear any song by Elvis Presley. My personal favorites are "Always on My Mind", "Suspicious Minds", and "Can't Help Falling in Love", but any song would be fine. Actually I'd love CC to have an episode with songs only from the King, but I imagine the rights for his songs are too expensive...
