I used to love this show, it was pretty much the only show I watched, but as the seasons went on it got a little repetitive and dull. The earlier seasons are a lot better, before the tour especially, and I'm not really a fan of shows when they jump forwards like this did.

I LOVE THE FAST FORWARD!!
That means we don't have to deal with all the college years cr@p lol. I think if they didn't do that, the show would have failed already like "Dawson Creek". College years do not work on t.v. because if you spend 4 years of the storyline in high school, then the College years are basically similar to the drama in the fictional high school(keg parties, fraternities, drama with bf/gfs, etc.).
Everyone just becomes way more interesting when they're grown up and setting out to make a name for themselves in their respective careers. The characters also have ALOT more in-depth information about them when you have to explain what has happened for the past 4 years.
Brooke just keeps getting better. I love how Sophia Bush portrays her character and I love her "b!tch mother" storyline.
Naley is definitely intriguing to watch as a married couple. I love Jamie too. That little guy is sooo cute. I could just eat him up lol. I squeal like the little fangirl I am whenever his character is on-screen.
But...the Peyton/Lucas drama is so over-rated lol. I'm not a big Leyton fan, but I hate how they keep going back and forth with this. It's like "GET THIS OVER WITH!". Stop playing with us because this is getting so annoying with the "Are they together or Are they not together?". Pick one already!

I know what you mean, and I do think the jump saved the show, because it wouldn't have lasted too well otherwise. I think it was Desperate Housewives that put me off shows jumping forward, though, because I really didn't like how that changed.
Exactly! I do like Leyton, and I think they're a much better couple than Lucas/Lindsay or Lucas/Brooke, but I wish they'd just make a choice whether it's happening or it's not, and stick with it. Mind you, I guess, except for Naley, that's how the show has always been: Changing relationships around so often.

Lol, I've quit watching that show after Season 2. The early seasons were the best. that's how the show has always been: Changing relationships around so often. Yeah, because it's a teenage-soap show, but come on! They're grown up already. They've matured and gotten wiser, so I'd rather they pick "Are they together or not?" already instead of this constant back and forth. I would love for Brucas to get together though since Lucas wants a family and Brooke is ready for kids, marriage, and family, etc. but if Leyton gets together...I'd rather have them stay together than this back and forth(even in the last episode before hiatus with Peyton's "obstacle" now.).
