 . . . . . . . . So apparently, there's going to be a sort of Bones/Vanished crossover episode. Bones is going to resolve the mystery of Vanished although the actors of Vanished won't be in the episode. I know it sounds really weird, but that's one of the planned episodes of the season. |

Yeah I heard about that XD. It's going to be weird, but at least the "Vanished" fans will get some closure. I think it's FOX's way of saying sorry to the fans of the show for cancelling it early.

I can't wait for bones to come back on. Squee. At least it wasn't a cliffhanger like last season's finale. Phew, palpitations much?
Although I do have to say (contraire to what everyone on here thinks) I really don't find DB hot. At all. he's kind of let himself go to pasture too. *ducks*.
I don't think vanished aired in aus... Maybe for a week or two (or maybe we got the promos and nothing else lol). But sounds like something different.

Meanwhile I can't wait til Bones comes back... In Australia we're yet to see the other half of season 2. 'Tards. I'm hoping Bren gets a new boyfriend. Someone taller than Sully. Weird that her father is still around. Why?

Is moving to friday a good move or bad move over there? (Cos over here it would be bad; hello, backyard bbqs happen on fri nights, after-work drinks turn into more, ppl go out. There's only crap on fridays here.)

Moving to friday is a bad move over here too. Everyone is out and statistically every show on FOX that moved to friday got cancelled. I don't want that to happen to Bones =(.

Oh.. Uhoh.
So either they think its strong enough to compete or they want it to get canned.
But they ordered more eps this season, 28 instead of 24 I think. So that's good news maybe...
Hope it doesn't get cancelled. I love it, and there's still so much we need to know about the characters.

Looks like it puts it on before House, making a strong line up. Has Bones been moved into competition with something on at the same time on another network? Or has it been moved away from something else? |

I don't really know if the move is good or bad or why FOX did it. I think the competition on the Tuesday time slot may be bigger than Wednesday, as they're going against NCIS.

Interesting question. According to tv.com NCIS is on too, the other shows mentioned don't tell me anything - and if trusting the comments of people only NCIS seems to be up to compete. House following and later SVU on NBC sounds like a nice combination, if you want to spent all evening in front of TV (though I would choose The Unit instead of House). Just guess American Idol will still get in its way.  Oh, schedules on Fox.com still shows that they might move Bones to Friday in January, probably because of American Idol? Oh well. |

Moving Bones to Tuesday might be a sign of confidence in it by the network. If they feel it can compete against the strong shows, and a loyal audience will follow it to another day, it may free up the old, safer, slot for a new show or one that hasn't had a good run in a more difficult slot.
