You're right, RichE--it ain't him, I had him mixed up with another British actor. They kinda look alike, actually. But it's not him. Too bad, I would've been real impressed to see him in two such different roles (the detective guy was REAL tough and not funny). Wish I could remember what the name of the series was.

RichE... I don't remember many details, it was a long time ago. All I remember is that it was about a bunch of detectives, and the man I thought was Stephen Fry (but isn't) played a FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGIST (not a cop--I just recently realized that, lol). He was having an affair with a female detective on his team whose surname was Penhaligon (can't forget a name like THAT).
Everything else, unfortunately... is a blur. I just remember really enjoying it because it was so different from American cop shows.

Oh, that show I know, DF, it's Cracker with Robbie Coltrane playing Dr. Eddie 'Fitz' Fitzgerald. Liked to watch it too.
Wow, they're planning pretty much in adavance, if they're planning 28 eps just in case there might be a strike in 2008. But what sense would make a strike if they can prepare so good for it that nobody would notice it happens? That's a bit like asking people to strike during off-time... Sorry, am a little strike pestered at the moment, LOL
But whatever they plan, as long as it's good: the more the better. ;D

Yep, that's Cracker. I might have struggled with it until you mentioned Panhandle. Good show. I think there was an attempt at an American version.

Cracker! Yeah, that's it. Thanks so much for reminding me. And yup, it was Robbie Coltrane. I dunno how I could forget HIM. Wish they'd rerun it around here. It's a bit old, isn't it? Like from '95 or so? I'm almost sure I watched it around 2000-01.

MINE!!!!!! *throws temper tantrum* Ahhhhhhhhh How could Emily and him be sooo close and not be together in real life? At first, I thought they were going out in real life from their interviews(they were soo cozy towards each other)...then I found out David was married. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Lol well.....Bones doesn't premiere until Sept. 19 =(....wayyy too long if you ask me. Their time-slot also changed to 9 pm btw =(...bad news for me...means I can't watch Bones when it's on tv...have to find some "illegal" means....even though that's bad, but I always make up for it by buying the Season DVDs XD.

I read spoilers whenever the become available even if it is a few months before the ep even airs. Of course, it makes the wait harder because of all the conjectures and suppositions running through my mind, but it just gives me my show fix when the show is on hiatus.  |
