The killer watched as Lilly walked down to her apartment, noticing that she was pregnant. He remembered seeing the blood dripping from both wrists a little while back. His thirst had begun to quench just thinking about that. Walking slowly, he turned away from her and walking towards a darkened ally.

Back at headquarters, Scotty received a gruesome phone call.
“Such a warm place that baby is growing in, hearing the sound of Lillian’s heartbeat”

His eyes widened” Don’t try to harm my child or her”.

“I wouldn’t dream of hurting Lillian, she isn’t who I want. It’s you” he whispered.
Scotty wasn’t about to let some crazy killer harm him either.

“You think that baby is going to be protected if its father is weak” before the phone went dead.

After tracing the call, Stillman called for backup” You are staying here, don’t go home”.
He shot the older man a look” I need to protect her”.
Kat’s sitting outside her place, for protection. To Scotty that wasn’t enough but didn’t want to be killed.

In a dream like state, a sound of a heartbeat was heard softly. Then the feeling of warmness took over as a small fetus lay there as its leg moved. Lilly gasped waking up before placing her hand there; sure enough her baby was kicking for the first time.

Breathing harder, she felt it again wondering about that dream. Lying on her side, Lilly gently rubbed her abdomen softly before falling back to sleep.

Somehow Lilly was roused out of a very deep sleep by the sound of a phone ringing. Picking it up the same voice began to speak.

“How nice and warm the baby is inside of you”

Lilly remained strong” What the hell do you want”, not wanting to display any signs of weakness.

“I can hear your heartbeat, and right now your baby is kicking” as she felt the movements from underneath her hand before the line went dead.
In all of one motion, Lilly immediately got dressed before doing some research about the murders. By morning she came in with virtually no sleep whatsoever.

The dream was still lingering around, but now there were worse things. Somehow the killer had left a gruesome message. Now looking in it through a sealed bag; Lilly’s eyes had widened.

No tricks, just give me a vial of his blood (9136); the killer wanted Scotty’s blood. A deep chill was now running down her spine; as time was slowly running out. Looking up she felt another kick, knowing that her own child could feel everything. Just as Scotty was picking up the phone, a familiar voice was on the line.
“I can feel your fear, wanting to protect precious Lillian. She’s weak too couldn’t even save herself from being shot by poor Ed”.

Scotty knew he got a thrill over people’s weaknesses, but he wasn’t about to play that game.
“Tell me why do want me”?
“Simple, you’re not needed, I would never harm Lillian since she isn’t the one who reopened this case; you were”.
After the killer had hung up, Scotty looked around him before heading into Stillman’s office.
Inside there was taskforce being set up “No tricks this time, we are going to catch him” before assigning areas.
“What about Lil”.
Stillman glanced over at her” I’m sending you home, I don’t need anything happing to that baby”.

Out in the woods, Scotty began to search but kept a short distance from Vera. From out of nowhere someone grabbed his flashlight. Now in the pitch black of the night, he remained on guard listening for sounds. As his foot stepped down into the brush, he fell through a hole.

A set of teeth then bit into his skin, as Scotty kicked the person off. Using off of his strength, he managed to escape before hearing someone run off. Vera heard the sounds as he fired two shots both missing the unknown person.

Scotty then heard his phone ringing “I killed all of them, cause they are weak like you” before he saw a knife plunging into him. Just then there were several gunshots, before the killer lay dead. Lilly put down her gun and went immediately over to him.

“Love you” he gasped.
Sometime later at the hospital, Jefferies could see the fear in her eyes” Scotty’s out of surgery but looks like he’s going be fine”.

Inside of the room, Lilly took his hand before placing it on her stomach. She knew they both had beaten the killer’s game. Now the two could focus their attention on their impending baby, which was a good thing.

“Love you “Lilly whispered softly before kissing Scotty’s cheek. After leaving she went home to relax knowing that this extra stress wasn’t good for the baby. Moments after arriving at home the phone had rang once again.

“See weak one is in the hospital again”.
Lilly bit her lip” I thought I killed you”.
“One of us, Lillian but now the victims may never get justice”.
She could feel another craving coming on” Where are you” as the phone went dead. After making several phone calls, Lilly was tense but the baby inside of her served as reminder of her own strength.

While Scotty was recovering, Lilly had found where one of the killer’s had lived. It was an abandoned house off set back in the woods. As she made her way into it, traces of blood were present all over the floors and walls. The place itself was creepy while a pair of dark eyes watched the blonde investigate. He knew all about her Darkened Sea especially now with that tiny baby inside of her.

Lilly knew something was here but could risk anymore danger. Stepping outside, she began to walk as someone began to follow her.

Crunch, Crunch, Crunch

Her legs had stopped as Lilly listened trying to keep the fear deep down inside. A chill then raced down her spine; as the sound appeared again.

“Philly PD” she shouted” Show yourself”.
The killer then emerged standing there “You can’t catch me Lillian, until you bring me something”.

Lilly breathed out” On the ground, now”!

“Bring me the weak one “he eyes staring into two blue orbs. Before she had knew, he was gone leaving her standing there.

Vera then came running over to her” Where did he go”?
“I don’t know” She answered confused” We need to find him”.

Time was running out as Lilly sat in a car listening through earphone, as the squad went back into the woods. While that was happening, she could see a vision of her own child inside of her. Gasping slightly, Lilly soon realized that the whole windshield was covered in blood.

Her phone then rang” Seeing those visions of your baby again, wondering what it is”.

Lilly bit her lip “No more games”.
“Oh there is more, especially since I had tasted the weak one’s blood. Delicious, you should try it”.

She was disgusted before hearing the line go dead once again. Upon looking upward, there was no blood at all; in fact the windshield looked a little too clean. Getting out Lilly began to walk before the car had gone on fire.


“You better come back” she said” Something’s wrong”.

Jefferies was the first one to come to her; he knew the killer was out of control. Back at the hospital, Scotty grew worried about both Lilly and the baby. In fact when he tried to sit up massive pain shot right through him before a bolt of lightning lit up the sky.

Back at headquarters both Kat and Lilly were rushing to try and solve this case. Nothing was making any more sense until she remembered seeing someone in the apartment a while back.
“Ray’s friend”
Kat looked curious” When Ray had taken me back to his apartment, he was there”.“You sure about that Lil”.

Lilly nodded” He was also present when Scotty was hospitalized”. After a quick glance she dialed his number but couldn’t get him to spill who the man was.

“He’s a killer” she shouted. Ray laughed slightly” He isn’t my friend Lil, just a drifter. I don’t even know his name”.

She sighed” Then why were you hesitating”.
He drew in a breath” I know that Scotty can protect you more than I can”.


Getting off the phone, Lilly was out of answers as the baby inside of her kicked once more. Her baby was the reason why she didn’t argue about going back to headquarters; protection. Maybe this was the basics of this whole case about that one little thing.

Grabbing her keys, the two women headed out of the building. A flash of light was now surrounding them.

“You need to kill your partner”
Lilly looked shocked” I’m not killing him”

He stepped forward” He’s weak like you were” whispering while starting into two orbs “Trust me Lillian it’s the only way you and the baby can survive”.

He then moved far away before Lilly held up her gun” ON THE GROUND NOW”!

The killer grinned before Jefferies had knocked him to the ground cuffing him. Now the game was over; but now Lilly was about to face him in the interrogation room tomorrow.

When Lilly walked into the room, she felt a sense of strength emerging. Sitting at the table was the person who had killed dozens of innocent people. Even he couldn’t break through her, not anymore. Even since the breakdown Lilly had learned when the appropriate time was to build up those walls and that time was now.

“Why stalk my partner” she said
Oscar gazed into her blue eyes” He’s weak and needs to be saved”
“Saved” Lilly responded rising up and eyebrow.

He leaned forward” You’ve been having those dreams about your unborn child”
“Answer the question” Shouting Lilly before Oscar began to laugh” It’s lying there so nice and warm”
“Shut up; tell me why you sent two others as decoy”.

Oscar leaned back in his chair before spitting at her “His blood tasted so good” while licking his lips.
After two long hours, Lilly was ready to go home and sleep which was what she did. Crawling into bed the blonde detective slept feeling good that the victims were going to receive justice after all. Meanwhile Scotty knew had once again failed to protect Lilly, especially now pregnant with their baby.

“I should have been there Boss, he could have hurt them”
Stillman moved closer” Oscar had no intention of hurting Lil; she needs to take it easy”.
“I need to be with her”
“You’re recovering from surgery Scotty” he said placing a hand on his shoulder.

The next morning Lilly came down to the hospital as Scotty’s hand slid onto her stomach. He could feel their baby kicking which sent a smile onto his face. Together they knew that love was made for them; especially now.

Leaned over the two kissed; while feeling that their love was extremely strong for each other. Then a doctor came into the room as he began to listen to his heart. While that was being done, Scotty thought back remembering when Oscar had attacked him in the apartment just him prior to being stabbed.
How trapped he felt, especially when Oscar began to mess around with his mind. Scotty knew it was all just one big mind game; but couldn’t help but wonder what the piece of paper he had found in his pocket meant.
“Just lie back” The doctor said before closing the curtain. Now waiting, Lilly began to wonder about the dreams and what it had meant. With a quick glace over at a clock, she knew this interrogation wasn’t going to wait any longer.

Inside of the room Oscar sat there grinning at the blonde” I bit him more than once” while licking his lips. Lilly felt disgusted” Why do you have an interest in my baby”.

“I don’t but I know it can hear your heartbeat”.

She bit her lips “Tell how you murdered the rest of them”.

Oscar sat down, while listening to the demons in his mind telling him not to. Somehow he began to tell Lilly all about his sickening fetish. Even as an hour had passed, she was no closer to finding out the real truth.

“Where is the knife that you used to stab my partner with”?

Leaning forward his black eyes met up with his” Every one of your relationships had failed, none of those men really did love you. He’s just like all the rest of them; soon it will be just you and the baby. Listen to me Lillian, give up the baby”.

Oscar then noticed that there wasn’t one ounce of weakness in her eyes before being spooked by the sound of Lilly throwing a chair against the wall.

“Never mind my baby, Why kill twenty innocent people”.

“Simple they are the weak ones, like your partner”.

Lilly rolled her eyes as Oscar hissed at her” He is Lillian, trying to drown himself because he can’t always play the hero he wants to be. You see that baby is going to be weak because of him, it doesn’t matter how much love you give it”.

She threw down all of the pictures” LOOK AT THEM, THEY WEREN’T WEAK YOU ARE”.

At that point Oscar stood up” So going in there” pointing to the observation room” WAS YOUR SIGN OF WEAKNESS “. He then walked over to her as Lilly yelled” SIT DOWN NOW”.



Then Stillman came into the room, making sure the door would slam shut behind.
“Enough with the games, why kill them”?

Oscar sat there with his arms crossed before yelling fiercely at Lilly. It had gotten so bad that she was ordered to leave the room for her own protection. Outside she went into the bathroom to calm herself down.

After going to the doctors, Lilly went straight home and took a long hot bath. She felt better knowing that the baby was healthy. Just three days later, Scotty was allowed to go home since everything was healing well.

He was going to stay with Lilly wanting to be closer to their baby as well. Now sitting up he saw the looked of tiredness in her eyes.

“You need to sleep”

“I can’t this case is preventing me from doing that”.

Scotty took her hand as Lilly grumbled before calling out. Even then Stillman accepted it knowing that it was a good thing that she wasn’t here. Now one her side, she began to fall fast asleep not knowing that Scotty was feeling useless since he couldn’t do anything to help her.

Now lying in bed, Lilly felt her unborn child kicking inside. As Scotty felt it he knew his darkened seas were over now he was about to become a father; while his hand gently stroked her abdomen. Then he thought about Oscar wanting to know why he was so interested in their baby. Maybe it was the protection that he had never received.

Just thinking about their baby, Scotty let out a small smile. Looking over Lilly was sound asleep as he gently kissed her. Nobody was ever going to harm her again, especially as his eyes spotted the scar from the gunshot. Scotty knew now she wasn’t thinking about this anymore not since their baby was inside of her.

Two weeks later, after Oscar had been committed into a mental hospital. It was a good thing but as soon as Scotty returned he paid him a visit.
“Thought I killed you”
“Nice try with that vampire act, we found all bodies. The question is why chose both of us”?
Oscar grinned “Simple poor Lillian gets shot, you’re weak not being able to stop him. Such a warm place that baby is in, all day listening to sound of her heartbeat” as Scotty restrained himself from not hurting him.
“Why not help Lillian when she needed you the most, why wait until her warm blood was dripping out of her wrists”?
Scotty wasn’t able to be sucked into this, besides he had better things to do than sit with a pathetic lunatic. Upon returning back to headquarters, things started to get better until three weeks before her due date; Scotty discovered that Lilly was missing.

On the nightstand were her cell, gun and keys. Worried now Scotty began to look for her battling the icy conditions; just hoping the baby was alright. As Lilly walked around in the cold lost and confused, while inside her unborn child lay in its warm environment.

Now hearing footsteps before turning around seeing a man standing there with black eyes; Lilly began walk fast not wanting him to hurt her.
“Better stop running Lillian” he grinned” Aren’t you the weak one fleeing once again from that fiancé of yours”.
Lilly breathed out” What the hell do you want” before he grabbed her. When she awoke in a dark place, her hands immediately went to her stomach protectively. Sure enough the baby was kicking hard, what was even worse was the fact she was nine months along.

Now running out of time Scotty got the signal and went back into an abandoned house. Inside he saw who were really the killer and not Oscar.

“It a good thing you came, I just was telling Lillian about her weakness”.

“Shut up” she yelled before a painful contraction ripped right through her; she was going into labor.
The man let out an evil laugh as Lilly began to breathe heavily.
“She needs to get to a hospital” Scotty said upon hearing her moan even more.
“No hospitals” he yelled” No one is going anywhere”.

Bending down Scotty counted Lilly’s contractions as they seem to get closer every hour. Now with her moaning a lot he looked up” Let her go, she’s going to have the baby”.
Clyde glanced over at the pregnant woman before kicking Scotty hard.

“SCOTTY” Lilly yelped in pain after feeling her water breaking but that wasn’t any use. Clyde motioned for him to sit at the opposite side of the room. Within ten minutes Scotty got into position as he prepared to deliver their baby.
“Push Lil” he said
“Get me out of here “cried Lilly as she continued to push harder. As Scotty gently pulled their baby out, he watched as it took its first breath before crying.

“We got a girl” he said before wiping away some blood in order to kiss his daughter’s forehead.

Now placing the baby with Lilly, Clyde then stabbed Scotty before dragging him away. Now all alone she held her daughter close not wanting anything to happen to her. Within a few seconds four shots were heard as the sound of Stillman’s voice was heard.

As Lilly was being wheeled into the ambulance, her eyes were only on her daughter. Meanwhile Scotty lay there bleeding hard as Clyde started to pace” Now you will have to die”. With a huge force he pushed Scotty’s head into a tub of freezing cold water. Now fighting hard, he threw Clyde onto the floor.


It was no use since the man’s hands were around his neck squeezing tightly, before he blacked out. Now hearing another round of shots, Jefferies found Scotty still alive with Clyde lying dead a few inches away.

By the time that Scotty had awoke his mind had literally gone fuzzy. Although what had recently happened was still a blur; the sound of a baby crying was echoing throughout his entire mind. Did the birth actually happen or was this real bad nightmare? Had something bad happen to Lilly that he didn’t know about?

Now trying to sit up Scotty moaned in pain before a wave of dizziness forced him to lie back. Inside he wanted to make sure nothing had happened. Ten minutes later Jefferies poked his head into the room before walking inside.

“You got one beautiful daughter” he said

Scotty looked confused before realizing that he had delivered his own child during all of this. It now made a lot of sense that the crying in his mind was real. A small smile appeared on his face thinking about his little girl.

After Jefferies had left, more pain shot right through him. Even as the painkillers were taking effect he could only thinking about last night. Even while Lilly was holding their daughter she too remembered how Scotty first kissed her right before everything had happened. Peering down at Allie, she smiled cherishing every moment of being a mother.

Then her phone had rung” Seems like that baby is still listening to your heartbeat” the voice taunted.

A chill raced down Lilly’s spine” Game’s over”.

“Not quiet yet Lillian; you see nobody had caught me. I watched you in labor moaning in pain. Such a shame that guy didn’t kill him but I will”, then the phone line went dead.

Within fifteen minutes both she and Allie were being sent to a safe house just for extra safety. Just by looking at her daughter Lilly made a promise not to let anyone harm her. Kat even agree to stay and help her out while the men took over.

Now the body count was rising, leaving the squad with literally not idea who really was the killer expect now all the bodies were drained of blood.

Now with more dead bodies, the squad was working even harder to determine the next course of action. Scotty couldn’t just lay there knowing that this guy was still out there, before sitting up. He didn’t care about the pain before getting up out of the bed. There was no way this killer was going to harm either one of his girls.

Just by thinking of his baby daughter, Scotty wanted so much to see her. Then a massive pain shot right through him before Jefferies came into the room.

“Where are you going” he asked?

“To see Lil and my daughter” Replied Scotty before Jefferies led him back to bed. Although it was struggled to do so, he finally sat down on the bed” I can’t risk him hurting my daughter”.
Jefferies closed the door” Both Lil and Allie are at a safe house there is no way he can harm either one of them”.

When Scotty heard name of his daughter he liked it. Although he was able to deliver her it was hard especially in a darkened place which had come with a psychopath who turned out not to really be the killer.

“There’s going to be a guard posted outside” Jefferies said breaking his inner thoughts.

Scotty sighed” I can’t stay here not after all of this” before moaning in severe pain.

He hated feeling like this especially when there was killer on the loose and a family to protect. After a nurse had given him a painkiller, Jefferies received a phone call. In some field Vera found another body this time with his heart removed.
The whole crime scene was gruesome even to a trained eye. Everyone knew this guy needed to be stop but no one could figure out who or where he was. All the phone leads turned up dead since none of the payphones had any numbers associated with them.

Back in the safe house Lilly was wondering the same question as well. What was even more frightening was the fact that the killer knew both of their cell numbers and names.
Holding Allie close she began to feel unsafe being here. In a matter of time she was taken to another place since more bodies had turned up; all of them were male.

Stillman then received another one of his calls.

“Their blood was warm and crimson. There will be more to come but I just need one more thing before I can stop. Bring me Lillian’s partner”.

The older man was becoming angrier by the moment but then heard the voice again. Stillman knew he didn’t want Lilly but feared now for Scotty. After getting him released Jefferies was sent to make sure that the killer didn’t try anymore games.

Somehow they walked right into the killer’s path. Along the roadways he had managed to separate them so cleverly that it worked. When the fogginess had lifted all Scotty could hear was the sound of Allie’s first cries as she drew in her first breath.

Then he drifted back into a deep haze not knowing where he was or how he had gotten there. As the hours had passed the killer sat there watching his chest rising and falling.

At the same time Lilly was still working on this case while Allie slept. Then something began to make sense after reexamining the crime scene photos.

“He’s fascinated with Medical stuff, especially about the heart “she said.
Kat stood up” He’s a psychopath Lil, plain and simple”.

The blonde shook her head” No it makes sense, our emotional breakdowns, and Allie’s birth” as she began to try and connect everything together.
It had made sense that the killer had watched them especially through their darkest moments.

By the time morning had come, Scotty laid there now a prisoner. He was now powerless and in pain from something he couldn’t even remember.

“You weren’t there for her after the shooting, failed Lillian when she needed you the most. It was out of compassion that she had stayed with you”. The killer began to slowly brainwash him feeling the excitement of seeing a failure.

While that was happening there were no more killings, making every one of them feel uneasy. As a week turned into a month, the squad was no closer to finding the truth. For Lilly she had to remain strong especially for Allie who needed her the most.

One day everything changed when the case suddenly stalled. She knew all too well that this guy wasn’t just a regular serial killer; in fact he was getting smarter by the moment. With the entire mind games are different killing styles, it was hard to figure out him psychologically. The good news was that the FBI was still on this case.

If this couldn’t get any worse it did, when Stillman came to her apartment. Inside of the bag was a promise ring that Lilly had given to Scotty before Allie was born.

As Lilly held the ring in the palm of her hand she began to feel a moment of extreme sadness inside. It was now another reason to find him; but didn’t want to be away from Allie. Still this case needed her expertise on it; even though she was still on maternity leave. Nothing was making a whole lot of good sense as to why he had set them up.

By the second month of his disappearance, more bodies began to turn up. Nothing could compare to the phone call the squad just received.
“Seems like the Philly PD can’t quite catch me” He said tauntingly

Vera grew tiffed by the moment as the voice let out an evil laugh “My accomplishes were good enough to throw you all off but they too are weak just like Lillian’s partner. Let’s just say he doesn’t care for her or that baby anymore”.

Now down at the mental hospital, Kat stood there looking directly at Oscar.
“We know you aren’t the killer but need to know who is”.

Oscar now drew in a breath wanting to tell the truth” I was brainwashed by him, like the others. When he had discovered that blonde’s partner everything changed. The place is in the woods but in the basement of a building his where you will find him”.

Kat shook her head as Oscar handed her the address before he lowered his head down. Even she could tell that the man was clearly scared of what had happened. Now the squad was prepared to do whatever it took to find him, but it wasn’t going to be easy.

After everything was set, Lilly wanted to go there. It was important to her to find Scotty, after everything that had happened to them. Since tonight was one of the nights that Kat didn’t work, she volunteered to watch Allie.

Once inside Lilly immediately searched the basement. She knew if anything the killer would be hiding here since it was the coldest spot of the building. Now creeping downward her heart began to race in fear of losing her partner. Then her senses were giving the impression that some serious danger was about to happen.

With the smoke now rising Lilly became trapped, but means of an underground tunnel. Somehow that leads her outside near a river. Then the building was blazing with fire but now there was no way for her to contact anyone. Now realizing what had just happened, Lilly knew she needed to keep focused in order to not get herself killed.
