Aww... sorry to hear that Naj! Well, the synopsis is complicated. There were five mini stories each of which were uniquely affected by the snow storm that hit everywhere in the world.
Poppy Montgomery's character, Paula, was a bridesmaid to her overbearing friend's wedding. The snow ends up delaying the wedding... actually no one is able to come to the wedding. The only other person to show was a cheloist that remembers Paula from college years ago. He tells her how he regrets not talking to her then. You can tell he likes her. Well... Paula, her friend, the groom, and the cheloist are stranded in the chapel. Things begin to unravel... it turns out that Paula is in love with the groom (vice versa).... the cheloist is in love with her. The bride ends up leaving on a snow plow and Paula chooses neither guy. HAH!
Jason Priestly's character, Warren, was a cheating husband. He lied to his wife about being stranded in some airport, which ends up collapsing from the weight of the snow. The wife hears about the collapse on the news.... Warren, oblivious of what happened, still claims to be at the airport. She ends up freezing Warren's credit cards, leaving him with no money to get back home. And she tells Warren she's going on vacation.
Jennifer Esposito's character, Pilar, is going through custody issues with her ex-husband. It's his turn to have his son over for christmas but the snow creates a hazard. Pilar doesn't want to risk going out in the snow. The husband gets mad and tells Pilar he's going to claim full custody of their son. He tries desperately to persuade a judge, which is the father of Eric Szmanda's character (Luke), to sign a form giving him full custody of the child. The judge doesn't agree...the father's truck ends up getting towed in the end.
It's been awhile, my memory is a bit fuzzy on the other ones. Does anyone else remember well and can give a brief synopsis of the other stories?!

I finally found time to watch this last night. Here's a couple of more synopsis (great job BTW foxfire!):
Eric Szmanda's character, Luke, lives in Richmond, Va and his mother and aunt and uncle and others are coming for Christmas. The snow causes them to be delayed after the highway is shut down, but his Aunt Lulu (Mary Tyler Moore) is there because she lives close. Luke has never attempted to cook before, but he decides to do it since everyone else is delayed. He prepares a goose and it turns out really well. Aunt Lulu takes the goose to the roof and encourages him to throw it off as a way of symbolizing throwing away all of the judgement he allows his mother to place on him. He finally does it, and it changes his whole outlook.
Camryn Manheim's character, Bev, travels to Louisianna for Christmas because she wants to be somewhere where there is no snow. She lost her husband around the holidays and the snow reminds her too much of him. The snow storm hits, and it pushes her further into a depression. She seems to want to take her life by swallowing too many pills, but her hotel room does not have any glasses in it. She walks down to the bar to get a glass, and encounters a bartender/piano player who listens to her story and tells her that the snow is the work of her husband. It's there so she can see him. This explaination makes her feel a lot better and saves her from taking her life.
Anyone else remember any others?

Thank you both foxifire and TVFan. Gee, I missed a good movie. What are the chances of a rerun on this one.

I would think one of the cable channels would run it next year. Lifetime usually runs all of the old TV Christmas movies during the holiday season. I'm not sure if anyone will have it again this season, though. I'll let you know if I hear anything Naj.
