I thought like you before Redemption, when Carol was attacked and spent all the time of lasting the case in hospital. But believe me, Tony, Kevin and Paula make a good team even without out brilliant DCI I can't wait for the fourth season!  |

Massive WITB fan here too.
The name wire in the blood comes from T.S. Eliot's "Four Quartets." It's in the first poem, Burnt Norton. I'd quote it but it would hardly do it justice or help with the context.

If you've read any of the novels the series is taken from, the titles are all from T. S. Eliot poems too. I'm a huge fan of the books and the series (at least, I was before Carol left, *sniff sniff*). I loooooooove this show. Just found this thread though... Love the Tony/Carol dynamics! And when he tells that new DCI (what's her name?) that he's in love with people like her and Carol. It's fantastic. I love Tony; he always walks around with his shopping bag lol. And he has the loveliest eyes ever. I think the episode where Paula is kidnapped is one of the best ever! Unfortunately I think this show has gone off on ABC in Aus. No idea when it's coming back, but I've been eyeing off episodes at JB Hi-Fi wondering if they're worth lightening my wallet!
