I'm only really sad about the cancellation of Jack & Bobby. All my other religiously followed shows survived the cut. I was kind of following Medical Investigation, but this one I can easily live without.
I feel kind of bad about American Dreams too. I watched the first season and I really enjoyed it. I stopped following it afterwards (I can't really remember why) but I enjoyed catching an episode every now and then. Besides that I'm a huge fan of anything related to the 60's, so seeing AD go makes me sad.

I was really bummed about Law and Order: Trial By Jury being cancelled. I dont really think it got a fair run. It was in a tough time slot, against NUMB3RS, and it didnt premier until late in the season. I think the network should try and shuffle some stuff around and give it at least another season.
The other thing i was bummed about was Committed. I dont really know how its ratings were, but i thought the show was funny. ;D

I was most upset about the cancellation of "Jack and Bobby" and "Summerland." The first because it contained some of the best acting and directing I've seen in a very long time. The kids were very believable and I loved how they flashed forward so many years to interview people of the white house or the president's associates. I will miss this show.
I will miss "Summerland" because as cheesy and absolutely unbelievable it could sometimes be, it could be funny and sad at the same time and it had a very eclectic cast of characters. It wasn't a show that legends are made of but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Other than that, I have to say, I was not upset by any of the cancellations. In my opinion, the other's were warrented based on ratings information which is what all the networks base their decisions on when deciding their fall schedules.
I do have to say a big thank you to Fox for renewing two of my favorite comedies, "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Arrested Development." Even though they drastically changed both of theie time slots, I am very grateful to Peter Liguori, the newly appointed Fox Entertainment President for renewing both of these excellent shows.

I'm only upset about Jack & Bobby and L&O: TBJ. I think Jack & Bobby was a great show and compared to some of the crap on TV these days, I feel it deserved to stay on. TBJ was also really interesting, unfort. it was on a Friday night and it was competing with Numb3rs so it was basically screwed from the start. Medical Investigation I also thought was pretty interesting, but I'm not that upset to see it go.

I'm bummed to see American Dreams go off the air. I only recently started watching it on DVD and I've fallen in love with it. The only good thing for me is that I still have two more seasons to watch (2 and 3) on DVD when they come out. Bummer, though, about the cancellation. It was a first rate show and a neat look at the past (just like CC).
I'm most upset about Joan of Arcadia. I've read subsequent articles and I'm even more mad. The show had decent viewership for Friday nights at 8pm, but the audience was too old (the median age was 53), so it got canned! Maybe, just maybe, if the show aired on a night when younger people tend to be home it would have had a younger audience. I feel like CBS never promoted the show and never gave it a real chance of survivial. I'm so bummed and mad! :smile29: :smile30:

I would have to say that of all those shows listed above I never watched any of them on a continuous bases.
I will have to say that I'm surprised that Joan of Arcadia was cut because that show seemed to be very popular, but that's not important with the network. That show lacked violence and sex which is what the networks want nowadays.
As for the shows that got cut, well, I'm glad Listen Up got canned because that show was awful. I guess I would've added Two and A Half Men (I don't think that show is funny at all).
I am surpised that My Wife and Kids got canned. It wasn't the best show but it wasn't all that bad. I would've canned The George Lopez Show. That show just hasn't impress me.
BTW...I'm also surprised that Jack and Bobby was cut. I've heard a lot of good things about that show.

I guess I would've added Two and A Half Men (I don't think that show is funny at all). Finally, someone who agrees with me. I used to watch Everybody Loves Raymond (love that show) with a group of people and right after Raymond was Two and a Half Men so of course I had to watch it. Everyone in my group was always rolling on the floor laughing throughout the whole show while I'd just be rolling my eyes. I also do not find that show funny at all.

LOL, it has its moments. But My Wife and Kids and Grounded for Life made me laugh more. Too bad they both got canned. Not shows I'd put my life on a stake for (like CC), but they did let me unwind. :smile25:

I must be the only one out here but I have to say that I didn't like Everybody Loves Raymond. To me, it was such a hateful family that it just threw me off.
I'm just hoping that they'll canned Two and a Half Men. Maybe they'll realize that Charlie Sheen can NOT do comedy. Just look at his movies that were comedies. None were funny.
