I personally didn't even know they were on (if I had, I would've watched), but they tell me KM was one of presenters. If anyone has any info, or clips or something, please post here. :welcome:

The only good thing is that Jamie Foxx (Ray) won the Oscar for his leading role in Ray. I had hoped that either Johnny Depp or Jamie Foxx would win. And finally the first L'Oreal commercial with Kyan Douglas (QEFTSG) aired. ;D There are clips of all the winners, but they aren't the acceptance speeches. These are speeches after the real Oscar ceremonial, in a press room. Should I post the link???

That'd be great. Here's a link to the winners. I was surprised by all the wins for Million Dollar Baby. I haven't seen that movie but really didn't think it'd walk away with 4 major awards. I am glad Cate Blanchett won for The Aviator. She was amazing in that, I'm sure, challenging role as Katherine Hepburn.

Personally, I would have loved to have seen Martin Scorsese win. I thought The Aviator was excellent. I'm also really happy that Cate Blanchett won. She deserved it. She's a brilliant actress.

Here's a link to al the listed winners of Oscars this year: www.oscar.com/oscarnight/winners/index.htmlWhen you click on the names you'll get to another page with a photo, the acceptance speech and most of time a link to a press room interview. Have fun ;D!!!

Yes, Cate Blanchett IS brilliant, at least in all other movies I've seen her in. I haven't watched The Aviator or Million Dollar Baby yet though.
I'm a little disappointed (but mostly relieved!) that KM wasn't one of the presenters. I'd hate to have missed her. I'm liking her more and more as the show goes on and I read transcripts of her interviews. She seems so level-headed and smart.

I watched about 1 1/2 hours of it. Then I succumbed to sleep.
