I don't know if TVFan has her tape set for this but I'll go ahead with my comments.... ;D Boy did Rob make a wrong comment even tho he had checked several times about the flight to Turkey. They are lucky they made it to the next pittstop. Ron and Kelly were only about 5 minutes behind so this should be interesting next week even tho Meredith and Gretchen came in second, I'd say three teams are far behind Lynn and Alex. ~Naj

I tell you, don't ever make fun of old ppl like Meredith and Gretchen b/c it will come back and bite ya in the rear  They may be slow and Gretchen does drive me nuts with her "OH dear" comments etc.... but when Rob and Amber and the other young couple....made fun of them... The older couple seem to show them up.. :horsestick: I am truly enjoying this season and Rob & Amber do make it interesting even tho the rest of group hates them.. I saw the promo for the upcoming episode Seems like Rob and Amber screwed up!! ;D We shall see how this plays out :horsestick:

I was able to catch this one last Tuesday, so I'm still in the TAR loop  Anyway, I had a feeling that it was going to be non-elimination. I like all of the teams, so I don't want to see any of them leave. I know one more has to before we hit the final three. I'm looking forward to tonight's ep!

I thought that either Ron and Kelly or Rob and Amber were done when they decided to take the first flight. I just couldn't imagine that seats would open up for both teams. It made for some very intense moments. The move definitely paid off, but I thought that Ron and Kelly were going to get burned when they were yielded.
The roadblock was so funny. I know the teams were all frustrated, but it made for great TV. I had never seen Joyce lose her temper before this roadblock. Trying to manuever those big buses around those cones must have been very difficult.
Bummer about Meredith and Gretchen, but they really were troopers. They never gave up. Onward to the two hour season finale!

Onward to the two hour season finale! Yea, I had my fingers crossed on the Rob and Amber gamble. I was surprised that Ron and Kelly got on too! And I totally forgot that only three teams make it to the final. Or did they change it? I think I'm getting it confused with the final four in Survivor! I had to tape this week's and I just watched it yesterday. That was a very good leg. I can't believe that Meredith and Gretchen are as fit as they are for their age! They've done so well on the show. So next week is the two hour finale! ~Naj

As much as I enjoyed having Rob and Amber on The Amazing Race, I never wanted them to win. I wanted them to make top 3, so I was happy when the season finale ended. It seemed early on in this episode that Ron/Kelly would not win. They were too focused on their relationship (or lack of), and it caused too mush inter-team fighting and bickering. I think the stress of the month-long race really got to them. It felt like Rob and Amber were shoe-ins for the million. They were making good decisions and catching the best flights. I thought they were going to win for sure until Miami happened. They made the race-losing mistake of getting lost in Little Havanna. Because of the editing, I wasn't sure just how much time the mistake cost them until the end, and it was quite costly. When Joyce and Uchenna were forced to beg for money in Jamaica, I figured they were done. I was so impressed with the way they battled back from an emotional breakdown in the airport in Jamaica and won the race! I was at the edge of my seat when they got to the final pit stop and had to round up money to pay the taxi driver. I was happy to see them win because they ran such a clean, fair race. From what I've been reading, it looks like we don't get another season until the fall . I believe it will be the families of four edition. Should be interesting!
