Finally that Jonathan is out of there!!! ;D Someone used that yield... boy, someone was not a happy camper Sorry I had to make a new thread b/c I couldn't post anymore Let's see what happens next week I taped last night's and was going in to change the channel or something and I saw who lost at the end. Oh well. If I find some time, I'll watch it all the way thru. What kind of computer do you have Eurache? ~Naj

Ding, dong the witch is gone! Well, Jonathan and Victoria anyway. I was so afraid they were going to catch up near the end. Loved how they got eliminated, too. They half-read the clue and missed the part where it said to bring 2 donkeys! Haha!! foujylos.notlong.com [/IMG] Is it just me or are Adam and Rebecca competing for most disfunctional couple/team with Jonathan/Victoria? The overall rudeness at the holy site really bothered me. Oh, and so did Kendra's ethno-centric comments (they live in poverty because they like it that way).

No you didn't do anything wrong. I was just wondering if you had an older computer that you can't post on those longer threads. Is that it?
I still haven't watched last night's ep. I did watch the rest of American Idol just a few minutes ago but missed the ending because I had the timer set wrong. I guess it's on again tonight.
I'll save that ep of AR then so I can hear how disrespectful they all were.

The next Amazing Race (TAR 7) starts March 1st, and it's going to feature Amber and Boston Rob from Survivor All-stars. Should be interesting. Here's a link to the news: Am-buh and Boston Rob on TAR 7

Well, I thought this week's episode was much better than past ones. It was nice to not hear Jonathan and Victoria screaming at each other and putting each other down. I wasn't a big fan of the wrestlers, so I wasn't sad to see them go. Plus, they had a Jonathan/Victoria moment at the Roadblock, which continued at the pit stop.
My Kris/Jon love continues to grow. They are both very sweet, and they play fairly. They are both very good at detail too. They seem to read the clues carefully, and it pays off for them. Loved how all the other teams missed the part about swimming the length of the pool. As Kris and Jon were approaching the pool, Kris instantly said swim the length of the pool, indicating that she and Jon had read the clue thoroughly - something that Lori and Bolo could have benefited from. We've had two weeks in a row of teams being eliminated b/c they didn't read the clue carefully. Like Kris said, it's the little details that count.
Intense episode. It was sad to see the images of Sri Lanka just weeks before the Tsunami devestated the region. I found myself wondering how much of what we saw is still there today.

I had company until about 8:45. I saw who lost. Poor babies.
Yea about the Amber and Rob. Richard Hatch and Ami Cusack were going to try to get on there too. I'd love to see an all survivor cast on TAR. I mean why can't they? It's on the same network!
It doesn't matter to me who wins this one. I just couldn't get into this time with the personalities.
So there's four left? Is next week another non elimination and then the following week the finale?

I think so Naj. I believe the finale is the 8th. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think so Naj. I believe the finale is the 8th. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know, I haven't been into this one too much. The first time since it aired and I'm not interested. Now the Rob/Amber is going to garner my interest. ~Naj

The taxi trouble had me at the edge of my seat! I was so afraid we were going to lose Kris and Jon. They forged through and managed to come through it without getting nasty. LOVED Kris's comment about the language barrier (something to the effect of it's not the people in China's fault b/c the racers are in their country). So many people tend to forget this when they're in this race.
The window washing roadblock was terrifying! Kendra did a nice job facing her fear. When will Adam finally stop with his defeated behavior? He drives me crazy.
I'm looking forward to the finale. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for Kris and Jon!

Tonight's the big finale. Any guesses on the winner?
I'm really hoping it's Kris and Jon, but I think Hayden and Aaron are going to pull it off and win. (**keeps fingers crossed that she's wrong**)

I had a big brain lapse and turned the tv back on around 10:40 pm last night. It didn't matter to me about who one cause this was the first AR I didn't think the players were interesting. Can you believe it-it's just three weeks to the next one and this one DOES look like it's going to be interesting. Take a look at the new teams! www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race7/~Naj

I was so bummed when Freddie and Kendra got the earlier flight with United. I knew that Kris and Jon were done. Even though the flights got in close to each other, it seemed that Kris and Jon were never able to recoup the seven minutes they lost. The train crossing was just insult to injury. They ran a clean race, and they never got nasty with each other, so I guess they did win on that level. I was glad Hayden and Aaron went in the first hour. That lock roadblock was so hard! I can't believe Rebecca stuck with it for over 3 hours! How funny was it when Hayden decided to quit, and Rebecca found the correct lock at the same time. I think the stress of the race really got to Hayden at the end. She was ready to leave. The next group looks interesting, indeed. I wonder how Amber and Boston Rob will fair in this type of competition. I noticed that Iraqi POW Ron is on one of the teams as well. Phil Keoghan told USAToday.com that this next installment is a return to what made the show so good. Also in that article, they reveal that the 8th installment will pit families of four against each other. It's set to premiere next fall. The ninth installment will return to normal according to the article. It premieres early 2006.

Yea, I heard mention about families competing but didn't know when that would be.
I'm looking foward to this next installment. Hope to get some interest back in there with the players this time around.

I was sad to see the best friends go. They were funny, and could have developed into a fun team. I thought the blonde best friends (not the roommates) were mean when they told Ron and Kelly to go for the middle pile of sand. Of course, the team should have checked before taking their word for it. Interesting turn of events when the 7am flight was delayed and all the teams on that flight ended up on the 7:40 am flight.
I see that Boston Rob is up to his usual antics. He hooked on to that guy that helped them get to the sand dig very quickly. So far, he's been nice to the other teams ( and I assume it's so he can use it to his advantage). I'm interested to see how these "Survivor" skills will work on AR.
The llama part was funny, and the zip lines looked like fun.

Yea, it was a pretty good opening show this season. It seems like it will be good. That mother/son duo are mean thinking. I already don't like the son! lol
Anyhow Rob and Amber almost made it as first to check in. And did you hear the other teams who knew him make fun of him? "He can only talk in half sentence ...he's an idiot" or something to that effect.
I'd like to see them stay in there awhile because I do feel they will make it interesting.
The the male motorcycle pals got eliminated. I would say the lack of sleep will help them out in AR. Did you hear Rob saying that they can eat whenever they want....

I agree Naj, I'd like to see Rob and Amber stay for a while as well. They will make the show interesting. I've always liked Amber, and Rob has his moments. The other teams definitely seem to be against them.
I noticed that they don't have any actors/models this time. The teams seem more like real, relatable people. Also, Amber and Rob are the only "young" couple this time. It seemed like the last couple of races were inundated with them. I like it better when the teams are more diverse.

They don't have any actors this time? I didn't notice. Whatever they did (which for me is Rob and Amber) I'm still liking the whole group for some reason. I think it's the editing. Even Survivor has brought back some lustre this time around too! I will say they have a good mix on this new AR! ~Naj

:eek I agree also, I hope Rob and Amber stay for awhile and I believe they will b/c they came from being last to leave to third place. Rob and Amber haven't change and they are a great conniving couple...meant in a good way ;) LOL This is the best Amazing Race I saw so far and the rest of the team seem to be watching or wondering where Rob and Amber are.. :o instead of concentrating of what they should be doing... :P
