Does anyone like the show? Anyone watch it?
I think it's good, is not the best show ever, but is not that bad.

YES ;D
I got hooked on this show when it debuted in June but I'm not sure why. It certainly doesn't have much depth and the writing and acting could be better but I was glued to the T.V. for all 13 season 1 episodes and am excited for its return in January. From what I've heard, it will be on Tuesdays, taking over One Tree Hill's time slot while that show goes on hiatus..

The latest news is that Season 2 of Summerland will premiere on Monday February 28, 2005. It hasn't been annoucned if it will air at 8:00 or 9:00pm. As soon as I find out, I'll let you know. Either way though, 7th Heaven or Everwood (I watch both) will be moved or put on hiatus. Like Season 1, Season 2 of Summerland will consist of 13 episodes.

I loved Summerland! I was totally a Ava/whatever his name was that she used to go out with *Johnny maybe?* fan. I can't wait for it to come back... I mean, sure it was a little campy and cheesy, but hey, it's better than a lot of the crap that's on TV now adays.

Summerland is taking over Everwood's timeslot starting Monday February 28, 2005 at 9:00pm. I'm not sure yet if Everwood is being put on hiatus or if they are moving it to a different timeslot. I hope the WB hasn't lost faith in Everwood because I think it is one of the most well-written and acted shows out there.

The WB has kind of clarified their plans. Here's the article dealing with Summerland's time slot. Source: www.thefutoncritic.comLOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The WB will be getting some sun early as the Frog confirmed today "Summerland" will return for its second season on Monday, February 28. "Summerland" will replace "Everwood" in the network's Monday, 9:00/8:00c slot for seven weeks with the latter returning on April 18 to finish out its third season. It's not clear however where "Summerland" will wind up once "Everwood" rejoins the schedule. The news means that "Everwood" will air without repeats for the rest of its season once new episodes begin on January 17.

I hope the WB hasn't lost faith in Everwood because I think it is one of the most well-written and acted shows out there. True enough. I'd never paid any attention to Everwood until I kinda fell into it a few days ago, just on the ep in which Amy (I think that's her name) is brutally told she can't be a ballet dancer because she's too old and fat. Eight years ago I was in exactly the same situation, words and reactions were almost identical--and I have to say, it hurts as hell. It was so realistic I'm now Everwood's number 1 fan.
