Anyone catch one or both of the eps that ran last week? What did you think?
I thought it was a pretty good show. There was some obvious JB style rip offs like the tinting, camera work, editing, etc that kept it from being original. But, overall I liked it. It was kind of like ER crossed with CSI. It never ceases to amaze me how influential CSI has been on the television landscape.

Yay! Someone else who watched it! Well, the main reason I watched it was because I've loved Kelli Williams (Natalie) ever since she's been on The Practice. Anyway, I thought it was interesting... not as good as CSI (maybe better then ER, since that show is going down the drain). I loved the parts where the main guy would look around the room or whatever, and he could imagine what had happened (such a CSI thing!) anyway... I hope it doesn't stay on friday's though because no one's ever home... maybe when ER goes off the air it will take it's place.

I agree about the Fri night thing. Who remembers to watch stuff on Friday nights? I'll probably set up a TiVo season pass so I'll remember (this is what I do with Joan of Arcadia). I like your idea too, it would make a nice replacement in the ER timeslot once that show finally exits.

Anybody catch last night's ep? Im just not a big fan of the main guy's (sorry can't remember his name) story line with his estranged wife. It's just really cliche and overdone IMO. I wish they would drop it. I guess I'm just not a fan of a lot of personal stuff in procedural dramas (although it works with CC, I guess they do it right). I don't know if this show is going to make it. I checked the overnights on zap2it, and it came in third in its timeslot last night. A new 20/20 came in first, and a CSI rerun finished second. Medical Investigation lost to a CSI rerun! That's not a good sign. I really think that it would do well on another night, but maybe not. It did lose viewers from last week, so maybe people aren't enjoying it. I'm not going to get too attached just in case.

I watched it. For one thing, I think it has potential I just think it won't do as well as it could on a friday night. As for the CSI thing, anything will lose to a CSI repeat. CSI repeats get higher ratings than most new episodes of anything.
Anyway, we'll see where this show goes.

Yeah. I dont think the show will make it past a first season. In fact, im not even sure it will make one season at all. Its just to predictable. And TV, your right, the estranged wife thing has just been done too many times. (although it seems to work with without a trace, although we know what happens to that...)

Looks like the show has picked up some steam. NBC just announced a full season order for it. Here's the article from Zap2it.com: More "MI"
