Saw this movie on the weekend and I did like it. The first part is good as it is based on factual results, but the middle tends to be a little too rambling and the arguements Moore makes seem to stretch the truth and jump to too many conclusions.
The scenes with the American Soldiers in Iraq are disturbing and his shots of Bush playing golf and the comments he makes drew gasps from the audience. The final scene was something else.
Like it or hate it, this film has people talking.

I saw the movie last week and I loved it. While some of the points were a little stretched, I thought that MM did an amazing job and it was one of the best films I've seen all year.
I think this movie is great because it gets people talking, and even if you don't agree with the things said, you still wanna talk about it.

You make some good points CC Fan. I am anxiously awaiting the repsonse by the crowd who has seen the film and did NOT like it.
If you want to see some real interesting commentary (from both sides). Read the posted reviews of this movie on the msn.com site (go to entertainment).

I haven't seen the movie but will check out the comments. I'm assuming the responses are as split as the country. How much money has the film taken in so far? Did it crack 50 million?

Read the article and found it interesting, Hitchens makes a lot of good points. Just where do you stand in all of this Jeyon and have you seen this movie?? I have noticed you taking great interest in my posts.

I can probably safely say that I stand where ever Michael Moore doesn't. His reputation for sloppiness has (like Oliver Stone) kept me away from his movies. I love political and philosophical debate so if you've been posting such, I'll take a peek at least.
