This is an indie comedy that hasnt come out yet, but since one of my favorite actresses is in it, i thought id post and see if anyone else was interested. I know that Poppy Montgomery and Tori Spelling are in it. im not sure when its going to come out in theaters. (and if anyone doesnt mind, could you fill me in on what an indie film is? I feel left out of something...)
all i know about this movie (so far is that) its about a guy that is going to leave a city (dont ask me which city, i dont know) but he stays one more night to persue a love interest. Poppy Montgomery and Tori Spelling play lovers.

I don't know anything about it? Is Poppy a guy or a girl? Yea, I remember Tori from "Death of a Cheerleader". She was mean! And, of course, "Beverly Hills 90210". ~Naj

Here's a real description of the movie from forum.poppymontgomery.net: (i didnt like mine) Montgomery Swinging to Indie 'Lover' Thu May 29, 2003 02:39 AM ET By Chris Gardner LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Without a Trace" star Poppy Montgomery has joined the cast of the indie romantic comedy "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover," which is shooting in Los Angeles. Montgomery joins Paul Schneider, Jennifer Westfeldt, Tori Spelling and Fred Willard in writer/director Jordan Hawley's film, which is being described as in the vein of "Swingers." It follows a sleazy biographies writer (Schneider) who decides to ditch Los Angeles, burn all his bridges and start a new life on the East Coast. His plans go awry when he meets the woman of his dreams (Westfeldt) at the airport and decides to stay in town one more night to date her. Montgomery plays the sexy, free-swinging best friend of Schneider's character. In addition to her regular role on the CBS series "Without a Trace," Australian-born Montgomery's credits include "Glory Days," "The Other Sister" and "Dead Man on Campus." Articles: reuters.com, hollywoodreporter.com, ananova.com, movies.go.com and i also found out at www.imdb.com that the release date (for the U.S.) is September 10, 2004.

Okay, I'm still a bit confused about the characters. Poppy and Tori play lovers of Montgomery? Or Popply and Tori are lovers? Sorry I'm so dense.
And do you know what an Indie film is? I've heard that term before and just thought it meant small production.

Thats ok naj. i guess because i know what im talking about i assume other people will too, working on that... Poppy and Tori play lovers in the movie. Montgomery is just Poppy's last name. Im not sure what an Indie is either. its probably a smaller production, as you said, because i havent really heard anything about this movie other than from message boards and stuff.
