Mood: Relaxed. Doing: Reading through posts here. Thinking: It's interesting how some birds just chirp, while others sing out a nice call. Listening: To the birds outside.  I'll finally be able to play Halo 3 on my other computer. Against all advice from friends (and even my own opinion), I upgraded that computer from Windows2000 to Vista. It's not that bad. Looks "prettier", but I find all the colors and window-dressing a bit distracting.

I'll finally be able to play Halo 3 on my other computer. Against all advice from friends (and even my own opinion), I upgraded that computer from Windows2000 to Vista. It's not that bad. Looks "prettier", but I find all the colors and window-dressing a bit distracting. I adore Vista... absolutely love it. Granted, I'm the only person I know who doesn't hate it, but I just think it's wonderful. The little preview thumbnail when you hover over a background window is my favourite useless toy since Newton's Cradle... but I have found, through ridiculous amounts of trial-and-error, that most of the pointless window-dressing is optional, if you can only find the right way of switching them off.
