Well, since the threats of become real, try to get the rest of the Cold Case team to solve this. Stillman would be very worry about Lilly and Scotty. Maybe, have Vera and Jefferies hunt down a few leads in Kensington. I don't know . I'm just the reader right now, not the writer. It depends on what angle you're going for. For example, are you going towards a character developement storyline between Lilly and Scotty? Is it more important than the murder case? If you want a character developement, perhaps have something drastic happen to Scotty. Seeing Lilly's dialogue in the interrogation room would be interesting. There's a whole angle and storyline still to be found within this fictional world.

I've written a non L/S story but can't figure out how to keep a storyline straight. Any ideas it would be appreciated
