I just wanted to first give a low down of my next fanfiction. The title will be "St. Aatos" In 2005 a young man of 25 dies, and it is believed that the death is suicide. When a young woman shows the detectives a tape it is revealed that the man was in fact killed.

Prolouge: July 18th, 2005.
The song "Dirge of Paradise" by The Order plays in the background. The song contains no lyrics, and it sets a very somber mood.
In a darkened room lit up only by the glow of an omninous computer screen sits a man adorned in a black t-shirt, and blue jeans. He starts to hook up a camera, setting it so the camera is pointed at him. Soon he sits down, faces the camera and starts to talk.
"To those who view this then you are truly lucky. You are viewing this, because I trust you. I am so sorry to get ahead of myself. Death has always been a subject of fascination for me, and with this new project I aim to explore those depths. What lies in that realm of death? Is it Heaven, or Hell? Is it paradise? Are we reincarnated, or do we become as drops of oceans inside of the absolute being?
My friends, I invite you to share my journey!"
The image goes black. The song continues and leads to the next scene. We now see the young man sprawled out on the floor. His neck is slit, and a knife nestled in his hand. Surrounding him are many candles.
In the boxroom where cases grow frigid, the boxman carries another box to it's slot. Written on it are the words Doe. A. Followed by the date of September 9, 2005, and the words "Suicide" and "CLOSED"
The song gives out it's last note before fading away.

Chapter 1:
"Who's the guy?" Lilly asked Stillman while making a gesture towards a young man on a computer.
"Some guy by the name of Robert Fitzgerald came in with information concerning the case of a John Doe from last year." Stillman answered.
Lilly and Stillman walked to where the guy was sitting at a computer. Scotty, and Nick were already watching him. "What's this about?" Lilly asked.
"Back in the summer of 2005 there was a report of a suicide of a rather reclusive man. Not much was said, but a month ago I met this girl who told me about her boyfriend. She also talked about this site he had-"
"Get to the point." Stillman sharply stated.
"Yeah, yeah, sorry. So I browsed this website, and it's not like anything I'd ever seen." Robert proceeded to type in the name of the site. In seconds the screen displayed a document.
"Ok..." Nick said looking confused.
"The links I found out were hidden within the text. There was one that really caught my attention." Robert clicked on a word, and was lead to an image of three daggers. He clicked on the right dagger, and soon a video popped up.
The detectives took notice, and watched. On the screen was a man who looked scared. The video was grainy, and in black and white. Soon the man on the screen spoke.
"Oh God, I lied! I lied! I don't want to die! Please...someone...help me!! Oh God! Oh Satan! Oh Holy Mother! oh Buddha! Someone! Please!!"
Before the image gave out, a figure could be seen walking behind him. The image was too grainy to make an identity. Then the video ended.
"So this guy didn't commet suicide." Lilly said.
"Thanks for the information." Scotty told Robert.
Robert then left, leaving the detectives another case.

"Do we even have a name for this guy?" Scotty asked. "Not that I know of." Answered Lilly flipping through the report. "It says that he was found with a deep wound in his neck." "Severing his carotid artery." Scotty noted matter of factly. "So this still appears to be a suicide, and we don't even know the guy's name." Lilly sighed. "Maybe we can talk to his girlfriend?" Scotty asked. Lilly sat down at the computer and typed in the website mulling over it carefully. "Hmm, this part reads the name of Jennifer Wilson" "It's worth a shot." Scotty stated. "Let's go." Lilly said. Before Lilly and Scotty could leave Stillman called Lilly. "Yes, chief?" Lilly asked. "Lil, what happened with that case in Silent Hill?" Stillman asked. It wasn't like Lilly to freeze, but how was she to tell her boss that the case had been nothing more than ruse to show that she had an abortion? How was she to explain that Rebecca wasn't a murder victim in the traditional sense, but actually a physical manifestation of the childhood self that she had lost? She was still having a hard time wrapping her head around that one, and plus she had a craving for Mac-N-Cheese* "I'll write up the report, chief." Lilly said. "You do that. Have it on my desk by tomorrow morning." Stillman commanded. **** Author's Notes: Going to end this for the night. For those who have read Obsidian Unconscious and have wondered the real ending of that story I've given some hints.

Over at Jennifer's house the young woman of 24 is watering a plant on her front porch. A piece of red hair strays into her eyes and she brushes it aside. Soon she sees a rather pretty blonde woman, and a handsome looking Latino man.
"Hey, what can I do for you?" Jennifer asks.
"We're here about your boyfriend." Lilly replied.
Jennifer sighed, "He killed himself."
"Someone showed us a tape. It shows a figure in the background with him pleading for his life." Scotty stated, then added, "actually a name of this guy would be nice."
"He was a very private man." Jennifer told them.
"Why so? Was he hiding something?" Lilly asked.
Jennifer sat down, and looked at the detectives. "He had some very strange world views. Views that I'm just now beginning to understand."
"Was he into Satanism?" Scotty mused.
"No." Jennifer answered.
"We'll get to the beliefs later on. What was this guy's name?" Lilly asked once more.
"He never gave me his real name, only a presumed one."
*flashback to 2005.*
The song "Lex Talionas" by Akercocke plays.
A moment when reason Has gone astray Suspended by threads That begin to fray
Jennifer is seen sitting next to the man. He places an arm over her and hugs her gently.
"What was that for?" Jennifer asked.
"Can't a man give a little love to his girl?" he asked.
What I've seen I can't forget Yet the World keeps turning Am I left without regret An eye for an eye
"Sorry." Jennifer giggled, and then added "You still haven't told me your name."
"I just now found it. It's Aatos. St. Aatos" He said.
"What kind of name is that? I mean..."
Aatos replied, "It's a German name, it means something like Sage."
Hollowed by apathy Weakened will Emotional mendicants Blood to spillIt is folly to accept These deeds unchanging
"Ok, yes whatever you say Aatos. Why couldn't you pick a more normal name, like Michael?" Jennifer asked, wrapping her arms around her boyfriend.
When it's your turn to reflect You'll too late realise A moment when reason
"Michael's a stupid name." Aatos huffed.
Jennifer let go of him, and then looked out the window, "It's such a pretty day. We should go out!" She looked at Aatos who had his head downcast.
Has gone astray Suspended by threads That begin to fray
"You know how I feel about that. The outside world." He answered.
Jennifer sighed.
*back to present*
"It must have been hard to date a man who would never go outside." Lilly said matter of factly.
"He said that 99 percent of the human race were nothing but scum."
"What an enlightening world view." Scotty quipped.
Lilly nodded, and then asked, "Did he happen to know anyone else?"
Jennifer paused for a moment, and then spoke, "Come to think of it he did know two other people. A guy named Alex, and another guy named Jon."
"Thanks for your time." Lilly thanked her, and her and Scotty left.
***
Scotty was driving back to the precinct with Lilly riding shotgun. He couldn't help but notice how fragile, saddened and child like she appeared. This started when she returned from Silent Hill.
"Hey Lil."
"Yeah?" Lilly looked up at Scotty.
"Are you ok?" He asked her.
"Why shouldn't I be?" Lilly asked.
"No reason. Just after you returned you've been acting differant." Scotty answered.
Lilly sighed, "It's nothing, no big deal."
And that's when Scotty really started to worry. Her demeanor was even worse than when she had to deal with George.

*Bonus feature*
Lilly sat down on her bed and begin writing up the report. The fictional report that was.
Detective's Name: Lilly Rush
Case Number: 90*
Location: Silent Hill, Maine
Victim: Rebecca Fitzgerald
Age of Victim at Time of Death: 6
Date of Death: 10/17/1990
Details: Received the case of Rebecca Fitzerald on Went to Silent Hill, Maine this past October. The only living witness was Robert Colmes. When I spoke to Robert he was at work at the time of Rebecca's murder and his alibi checked out. When I queried further he told me to look up the name Kevin Riley. Upon looking into Mr. Riley I discovered a journal with his last entry (before he died) containing his confession that he had kidnapped Rebecca from Midwich Elementary School, taken her to a small secluded island on Tolouca lake and stabbed her several times there.
Case Closed.
Lilly then reached over and grabbed the diary of Kevin Riley, and then whispered "Thankyou Kevin."
She then retired to bed.

^^Shure! Ooh, love the comment! Definately strays from the norm Yeah, I like to be a bit strange with my fanfics. For my next fic, I plan to write about the team receiving the case of the Pilsbury Doughboy. "How did he die?" asked Lilly. "Ruptured small intistent." Stillman informed them. "But how?" Lilly asked. "Apparently from being poked one too many times in the stomach." he answered.

back to business.
The next morning Lilly arrived at the precinct and dropped the report on the boss's desk. Scotty was behind her, and in his presence startled Lilly, obvious by her jump.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." Scotty said apologetically.
After Lilly caught her breath, she calmly said, "That's ok, sorry, I've been jumpy lately."
"Yeah, I noticed that. Is there something that you want to tell me?" Scotty asked.
'Yes, Scotty. I was in Silent Hill being chased by some humanoid black shadow, and the only way for me to defeat was to bawl like a baby.' Lilly thought to herself. "Nothing's wrong Scotty. We need to work on this case. Who else we got?"
"Alex and Jon Scotty said.
"Let's try Alex." Lilly stated.
***
Over at a video rental store we see a heavy set man behind the counter. He's wearing an employees outfit, his brown hair is pulled back in a ponytail somewhat slimming his chubby face. He waits for customers, but business is slow. One person walks past and Alex appears as he did in 2005. A lot heavier. His image reverts back, and he notices Lilly and Scotty browsing the movies.
"Can I help you with anything?" He asks nicely.
Scotty and Lilly retrieve their badges and show them to Alex. "We're from the FBI."
"Oh geez..." He says, "What's the deal?"
"Do you remember a guy named Aatos?" Scotty asks.
Alex thinks for a moment, and then replies. "Actually I do. He would always want to watch some really obscure videos, but never wanted to exit his house. The guy was a complete recluse."
"So how did he watch the videos?"
"He made me an offer. If I rented the videos, he would pay me that, plus an additional fee for delivery. I took him up on his offer.

"He made me an offer. If I rented the videos, he would pay me that, plus an additional fee for delivery. I took him up on his offer."
"And you accepted the offer?" Scotty asked.
"Naturally I did, and of course it all went good. Save for this one day that he was acting really weird."
"You mean odd enough to warrant suspicion?" Lilly asked.
Alex nodded his head.
Flashback
*** The song "Enter (The Transformed God Basement)" by Blut Aus Nord plays in the background. Fully dark, fully industrial, and uncomfortable to listen to.
Alex is in front of Aatos's house with a bag of DVDs. He knocks on the door, and Aatos opens the door.
"Hey, man, umm you're allowing light inside." Alex chuckles nervously.
"I'm not concerned about that. Come inside." Aatos commands.
Alex stepped inside of the small house and took a look around. The walls were completely painted black, and a few obscure underground metal posters were placed on the walls. Against one wall was a TV set which was shut off. Otherwise the room was bare, save for a chair, a table, and a laptop.
"So man what's going on?" Alex asked.
"Nothing, man nothing. You bring the DVDs?"
"Yeah, here you go." Alex handed Aatos the DVDs, and observed as the latter man browsed through them.
"Thanks man." Aatos said, walking to the kitchen and retrieving a set of cash. He then handed it to Alex.
As Alex left, he asked, "Hey, where exactly do you get this money?"
"The shadows protect me." Aatos said.
**** "You said he was acting odd? How was his behavior odd?" Lilly asked.
Alex stated, "Aatos never opened the door that much. He always went off about how evil the daylight was or some hoky crap like that."
"Hmm. Thanks for your time." Scotty says.

*I'm such a liar.*
Over at a local tattoo shop a young man with dark brown hair tied into a ponytail was busy examining some tattoo designs.
"Busy much?" Nick Vera stated, interrupting the man's thoughts.
The man was obviously startled by this intrusion. He dropped the designs. Nick noticed the image of a Ram. "Nice."
"Ram of Ares."
Kat, looked at the walls noting the inverted pentagrams and crosses. "Are you Jon?"
"Sorry, I don't speak to n-"
"Don't you dare!" Kat snapped.
"Whatever." He then turned to Nick, "So what's up?"
"We're from the FBI, investigating the murder of an Aatos." Nick answered.
Jon smiled a bit, "Ahh, Robert. Nice guy if not a bit delusional."
"Robert?" Kat asked.
Silence.
"Robert?" Nick asked.
"Yes, that was the Christian name given to Aatos." Jon answered.
"How did you meet Robert?" Nick asked.
"Both of us were aspiring musicians in the scene. I met him through his website, and we became friends. Pretty soon we met face to face and discussed a project."
*Flashback*
We see Robert/Aatos and Jon inside of Aatos's apartment. The song, "Pendulum Pray: The Second Incarceration" by The Axis of Perdition plays on Aatos's stereo.
"Who is this?" Jon asks.
"The Axis of Perdition."
"Hmm interesting. Anyways both of us are aspiring musicians, you know us two should combine forces." Jon stated excitedly.
"Yes, and then we can crawl out from our dark places and become victim's to the cruel sun." Aatos snidely remarked.
"Dude, have you ever been out of this apartment?"
"Only at night. I find the sunlight painful." Aatos answered.
Jon looked at the other guy oddly, "Riiiight"

Note: Agoraphobia is fear of open spaces, the public, and fear of leaving a safe place. Heliophobia is fear of the sun.
Back in the present.
Nick thanked Jon for the information, and Jon was more than happy to see the two detectives leave.
"So, what now?" Kat asked.
"A girlfriend, and two friends. One of them has to have a motive." Nick answered.
"We know it can't be Alex. Alex just started losing weight." Kat commented.
"Either Jennifer, or Jon."
"A lover scorned?"
"Let's find out."
**** Back at the precinct, Lilly was questioning Jennifer. "Jennifer, you and Aatos were close weren't you?"
Jennifer smiled, "Of course we were. We loved each other."
"Uh huh. Let's be honest."
"About what?" Jennifer asked genuinely confused.
"You have this guy that never steps out of his home, probably never took you anywhere. Who's not to say that you got a little angry and let that anger get the best of you?" Lilly pressed further.
"He had heliophobia and agoraphobia!" Jennifer suddenly snapped.
*flashback*
Aatos and Jennifer are inside of his apartment. Jennifer is looking outside through closed curtains. A stream of sunlight is seeping in, and this starts to agitate the already bizarre man. "Please, Jennifer, shut the curtains."
"But, why?"
"Just do it!" He yells at her.
She steps away from the window. "It's only sunlight, what's the big deal?" She asks.
"I, I hate the sun. It's a liar!"
"How is it a liar? How the hell can an inanimate object lie?" Jennifer asked.
"The sun is always alluded to as this friendly thing. A giver of life, some even call it their God! I know the truth! The sun is merciless, cruel, and the great Devil!" Aatos was blabbering, on the verge of a break down. Jennifer could tell, so she lowered her voice.
"Hon, something happened to you."
Silence, but Aatos was calming down. He then spoke, "It was back in 1995. I was with my friends at a local park. It was crowded that day, sunny, and hot. I remember it so vividly."
**Flashback to 1995**
We see a 15 year old Robert with his friends. Two young boys around age 13-15 are hanging with Robert at a local park. The sun is out, and the temperature is hot. The three boys are laughing about typical things. Suddenly the laughter dies when shots ring out through the air. Suddenly the entire park goes into a full blown panic. Robert's friends immediately take off.
"Hey guys, wait, help me!!" Robert cries out.
The residents of the park are either panicking or attending to the two people that have been shot. Robert is in the middle of the chaos, and no matter how much he yells, he cannot get out of there. The swarm of bodies around him makes him sick, and the high temperatures don't help matters at all. He falls to the ground, and tries to crawl away, but the panic stricken humans still won't let him by. Finally he passes out.
**end flashback**
"I had suffered not only a panic attack, but a heat stroke that day. Ever since that day, I hated both sun and mankind."
*end flashback*
Lilly looked at Jennifer, and then allowed her to leave. This case was going to be a bit more difficult to solve.

That's excellent! I hope to have this done by this week. I just have two more scenes before the killer is revealed, and then the ending montage.
Then I'll start on both "Perverse, almost Religious" (A story you might like due to it's Scotty and Lilly undertones) and another story that I have yet to title.
