song is about the lead singer brother's suicide and how the singer got over it. It reminds me of my cousin's suicide and all those times that I was beyond depression to suicidal thoughts.

I remember when I tried to commit suicide after my aunt died. Glad I wasn't successful, because 1) I would have never met you guys.  2) I realized that my aunt would have wanted me to stay alive, because there's so much I can do. And you can imagine how hard it was for me. It had to have been really bad for me to have attempted suicide. Because I'm really happy. I'm listening to "Wake Up America" by Miley Cyrus. |
