What happened after the breakfast scene ,between Lilly and Joseph?
Lilly stood there knowing that Joseph was standing behind her, she knew he loved her but why was she so unhappy about it? He wasn’t like the other guys that she had dated; he wasn’t the type to pack his bags and leave so soon. Lilly stopped scrubbing the pan, as she let a couple of tears run down her face. Joseph put Olivia down as he kissed her pastel neck. She wanted to so badly to tell him that she loved him, but a part of her was scared to admit it. Lilly then got up the courage and face him with tears streaming down her face. Joseph wiped the tears away from her eyes as he held her close, she was like a flower so fragile and delicate.
‘I’m here Lil, and that’s never going to change” he whispered
Lilly cried more” Everyone leaves me, just when I am starting to love them” as she picked up her head
“You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me, I love you Lilly “
Her heart almost skipped a beat when she heard him say it, sure she had heard this before but the look in his eyes meant it was real. Lilly could feel his lips kiss her neck as the blood warmed her heart. As they came closer their lips locked, and the tears started to dried up in Lilly’s eyes. Joseph knew she was miserable due to her dad walking out when she was six, but there was something else hidden deep down inside of her. Lilly took in a breath as she threw the burnt food into the garbage, silently beating up herself for ruining breakfast.
After taking a long shower and getting dressed for work, Joseph kissed her once more” C’mon beautiful I’ll walk you to work”.
The leaves were rustling as they held each other hands; it felt good to be in love for a change. Still Lilly was unhappy but could she trust him to know about what happened when she was ten? Turning the corner, Joseph kissed her with eyes filled with love and devotion. Could this be the start of a real love?
