Ahaha! If I am not mistaken, you are a sophomore (in college) too, no? Basically, this year is gonna rock, cause I'm taking almost all AP's. I've got a schedule that I am going to school early and leaving later than everyone else for. 0. French 1 Honors 1. APUSH 2. P.E./Drivers Ed 3. AP English 2 4. Homeroom/Lunch 5. AP Geometry 6. AP Chemistry 7. Spanish 2 Honors 8. AP Government *phew*. Then I get to go to a 3 hour poms practice! Yaaaay! (It is actually pretty fun... )

Wow, they really pack you in! In my high school, they only offered 4 APs, and we also had block scheduling, which means we had class for an hour and a half each day! And that was for a full year with APs, and it still didn't quite seem like enough preparation. I can't imagine having that type of schedule! I'm starting in on my political communications classes this fall (I just added the second major last spring), so I have my regular honors class, a literary foundations class (so Homer, Dante, etc.) and two political classes: argument & advocacy, and conflict negotiation. Should be fun, as they are both things that I am interested in already. ETA: And yes, I am a sophomore in college.

I was never in any honors or AP classes when I was in High school nor college. I did take some college level classes back in the day. School starts pretty early, I don't remember starting both college and HS till after labor day in September.

Next year I'm taking Criminology, it's worth 6 college credits. And, I was on block scheduling for Junior High. The classes are long and tedious at times, but it has it's benefits. And, Lincoln-Way is like, this amazingly good school when it comes to grades. (This year, all of the seniors from all 4 Lincoln-Way campuses exceeded standards on the PSAE) So, they offer every class as an AP class if you so choose to take it, and you can take as many as you like once you're a sophomore. Our poms was canceled today though. But, since it's the grand opening day of a brand new school, we had a huge ceremony in our auditorium. It was awesome, since poms performed with the band and sang the fight song and dance. We sang it about 6 times, just cause it's so cool. Fight, fight for lincoln way west! Herald the champions, herald the best! Go forth and lead the attack! All hail the orange and black- GO WARRIORS! With our shield and spear we defend. Victory, warriors of lincoln-way HEY! Strike first and win the battle, Lincoln-Way West, fight on! I don't know what college song it's set to, though... :/

I couldn't care less about school at the moment. It's always the same when I have to move back to that big, crappy, noisy and dirty city after a lovely summer vacation (feels better after a couple of weeks, though). Once again I have to leave my friends and just go. All work, no play.. Maybe I should've thought about that almost three years ago when I decided that I'm there to study, not to make friends Oh yeah.. I'm going back to school next Monday. Heh, that's what I feel like occasionally. It's really a drag for those first few weeks.

I was always in the regular Ed classes, I could never make it into the AP classes, back in the day. I did take two college level classes that weren't part of the honor's society.. I do wish that I could go back to College and complete my degree..

It's going to be hard right now to go back, I already went to two colleges already. That's why I'm saving up, I want my degree in Graphic design so badly.
That's interesting just how many people here are or where in AP classes, I kind of feel bad that I never was able to get into that.

Oh,
Well just keep saving and you will get that degree. I am either going for Photography or Liberal Arts Degree.
I wouldnt worry about the AP classes. I am the only one in my entire family that has ever been in all AP classes. My real dad never even finished High school.
My mom wants me to go into legal work but I im kind of like Lilly in a way there is no way I could sit behind a desk for 8 hours a day. I would go Nuts!

Oh, Well just keep saving and you will get that degree. I am either going for Photography or Liberal Arts Degree. I was first going for a liberal arts degree in teaching, this was when was seventeen. Then I found that both graphic design and photography were something that I was good in, so I stuck with that. I even have a photography page. I would love to make both of these careers one day, when I can back. Best of Luck to everyone who is starting school either now or in the beginning of september!!
