It's too late for me so I'm just going to say I thought this was a great episode even better than last week. Even though we knew the doer I just loved how the case unfolded.

Going to post this before I forget.
Did anyone else suspect that Lilly was lying when she told Paul that his wife was pregnant? She must have known that even if she were, Paul wouldn't be able to be there for his family. So, did anyone else suspect that Lilly only pulled that card, so that Paul would release her?

I really liked how East of Eden tied in to the case and everything about it.
Sharp writing and everyone performed at the top of their game.
Well done, CC!

I thought it was excellent too. I liked how Lilly lied to Paul so he would calm down but there were some scenes I didn't like concerning Diana.
Loved Jefferies taking that phone away from the manager.

So this Paul killed people when he would hear them say what his father said in his suicide note. Is this correct for most of them? That "no one cared" At first I didn't see the trauma this created for him but if you remember the flash backs between Paul and his father his father told him he's a good boy. And he did seem to be so and a happy son as well. And then a few minutes later to hear a gun go off and find your father dead would be very traumatic. I guess I missed the part of how or why no one looked for his father all those years.
Another thing that is strange is his obsession with his wife having a baby and all the money he poured into that. I guess he must have dreamed of having a son of his own.
I really liked the pace of this episode and how the episode basically transformed into some new type of possible scenario for how the series could possibly present cases in the future. If Cold Case gets another season do you think they will change the case format?

For the most part, I don't think the format will change if they have another season.. for the most part, I imagine they still want it to be a whodunit show.
